The Oni situation
I personally find Oni very unfun and boring to both play as and against, and I dont want to learn to play as or against him better, and given that many people have wanted to buff or nerf things because they don't know how to use or counter it effectively or don't like using or going against it, I feel that Oni needs to be heavily buffed and nerfed simultaneously.

Okay. I guess that's a good way of getting whiners to question themselves. But what happens if they realise that not everything in DBD is the same level of broken and/or counterable and that their skill and experience is worth nothing in the face of the strongest culprits?
Not talking about just killers here. There's some hearty scoops of BS everywhere.

I personally feel oni is the most fun killer to play with and the most scariest killer to play against. He induces real fear. He's fast, unpredictable and can hurt you if you are outpositioned and also an M1 killer who can be looped at the same time.

He the most unfun killer for me to play against. With that being said, do I think he is too OP? No.
I do think it sucks that 99% of the Onis I play against play the same way, down, slug, go for IF detected survivor. Rinse-Repeat.

His flick is total broken. You can basically hit through walls with it.

while most of the post was a joke, I do actually find Oni really unfun from both sides, I've heard the reasons why people enjoy him from both situations, and I can understand them, I just don't enjoy him personally.

Dont worry right now oni is bug sometime he wont be able to use is power for the match or after one or two power the piwer stop functionning so you should see a lot less oni player right now

Everyone have their own opinions. None of them are wrong. Just the experience we had differ that make us look at killers differently.

And I get that. But dealing with the same exact load out just isn’t fun. Like it has really made me dislike this killer that I don’t dare touch him.
I am basing this on my experience with Oni players, most of them have Top Knot too which is just too much to deal with depending on the map.

Boring to face him. I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s OP.
Every Oni just goes for the snowball with their power with infectious fright.

I played him and i literally hit through an obstacle and hit the survivor.

I like Oni quite a bit, but his design as a killer disappoints me, because in many ways he is just a better version of Michael. A power that is much harder to counter as survivor and being much easier to reach than Michael's T3.
I guess what I'm saying is I really wish they would update Michael's power, his age is really starting to show.

The only thing I find wrong with oni is he doesn't suffer anything when he runs into a wall, he just keeps running which is too much in my opinion

The Onis I've played against are either super salty sluggers/ebony mori tunnelers or super skilled plus fair and insanely fun to play against.
Oni is pretty well balanced imo. He can just be a real pain to play against when being used as a mindless Slugmachine.
Oni's "atmosphere" is also a lot more truly scary than for example Lameslinger's who sounds exactly the way he is: lame.

But the same could be said about DS and so on.
But also, even if many Onis use the same Build, how often do you play against Oni? Sadly i rarely play agains a oni. :/
Most killers i play against are huntress i think.

I've played against enough Onis to say that 99% had the same build and playstyle.
You can't even compare him to DS because of how slow DS is. DS cannot zoom from one end of the map to another.
As mentioned before, most of them just push for a forced snowball, and while that can be a strat, it gets boring when literally almost every one of them does it because they all carry the same build.

I feel the same way, I would like a lot of the killers way better (Huntress, Oni, Hillbilly) if this hit validation thing ends up doing work so jukes actually work.

With DS i meant Decive Strike. Its also annoying for Killers to go against the same build over and over again.
Also i said many Oni players may use the same build, but that doesnt mean you play everymatch against a oni

I am a Michael main, and one of the reasons I love him is because he actually feels like his T3 (which is extremely powerful) is earned.
I love instances where I can snowball with T3, but survivors still have some sort of counter to him. I would hate it if Michael could snowball like Oni (with hardly any counter) because then that would mean the majority of Michaels would go for this specific way of playing.

If you're referring to survivors bringing the same build, that's not entirely true. I always assume at least one person will bring DS, it's to be expected when you have killers camping left and right. So I don't blame them.
Oni is still a powerful killer without the need to snowball everytime.
