Stop with the, Spirit only needs ears and a headset argument

Seriously, this is the most overused and inaccurate line when talking about Spirit.

She is incredibly strong, but she does take some skill and knowledge too.

How do I know, because I have avoided and escaped plenty of spirits... now if your argument is “those spirits are bad,” then you’ve only supported the fact that she takes more than a headset.

So simple question, if Spirit only requires ears, why are there so many examples where people escape from her?

I don't understand the point behind that statement anyways because NOTHING in DBD requires extreme mechanical skills in the first place so why act like 1 specific killer was "ree no skill ree" ?

Yeah. No arguments here. I have always said she takes some time to learn, obviously not "Nurse" time to learn. But definitely longer than Freddy.

    1. Learn her power
    2. Learn to use her power efficiently
    3. Get REALLY good headset
    4. volume 100%
    5. Slowly get hearing loss as you blow them out in an attempt to hear survivors
    6. WIN!

But yeah joking aside(was I joking though) she is either the strongest or second strongest killer, but luckily she isn't easy mode. She should still get some changes, though. Not massive changes, but big enough to have just a bit of impact on her.

I don't get it, either. I usually play Overwatch, and fire-up DbD, killer or survivor, because this game is slow-paced and relaxing by comparison for what mechanical skills I need to play it and get objectives for either side done.

Yeah it always bothered me because you dont always have good sounds to follow especially since I refuse to use stridor , even if you do you can't just run at every pallet and window, sometimes you need to make a read on if they will fake it or not , whether you need to counter rotate, short phase to get the jump on a pallet camper etc

In all honestly, every killer benefits using a headset. Sounds are super important for all killers not just spirit.

If she really is that braindead, why there is no complain about her when first released?

The truth is she does have a learning curve. You really need experience and skill to poinpoint survivors with just sound and visual cue.

Yeah if she was easy mode you would see her loads more than you do right now. Honesty sometimes I feel like I have an easier time playing Huntress or Doctor... they may not compete against the top top players but going against random reds I find it easier to play them at loops with shocks or hatchets rather than listening and predicting while Phasing.
