What do you think about hatch offerings?
I think they are cool but they can be killer sided if survivors don't have a key but if they have a key it would be an easy hatch escape, what do you think about?
You can even say something about basament offerings (my opinion is that gives you a tactical advantage and it helps you a lot with basament builds)

Just more bloodweb pollutants.

they need to be removed
Just 4 Gens and no longer 5 yeah

TL;DR: The only time anyone would want to use these is if they're Survivor and they have a Key.
But I'm happy to see them regardless, because of the implications behind them.

If you use these as Survivor you're telling the Killer where to go after they hook the penultimate Survivor.
Sure you could try and pull of some megamind Wake Up play by going to the door farthest from the shack/main structure and waiting for the Killer to kick the Hatch, but if it's a small map or the doors are close you're still probably gonna get caught.
Unless you bring a Key or somehow know you'll be the last alive and get a big map against a slow Killer with balanced door spawns, I don't see how you'd benefit from using it.
And if you're just wanting to roll the dice and hope you get the above perfect scenario, you're better off using a Shiny Coin and hoping you get a Hatch Key.

If you use these as Killer you're basically giving free information to the Survivors that you could already have acquired by just patrolling the map.
If the Survivors find a Key they'll know right where to go. However, you won't know if/when they get a Key, so you won't be able to use the same information that you've given them.
You're better off just slugging 3rd guy to look for Hatch first, than using this to just know.

Obviously, you can still use these for the "LOLs" but they have no practical purpose.
That said, I cannot express how happy I am to see these Offerings. It's cool that the devs are experimenting with Offerings, and that we're getting ones that effect specifics of map RNG is pretty cool to me.
These are definitely a miss IMO, but I support the creative/thought process that created them.

They need to be secret, but I think they're interesting. May as well add some variety to the offerings.

they are killer sided
Until they're made secret, it's stronger for killer as killer can now know exactly where to be if a hatch comes into play.
Edit: If somebody has a key this is flipped though, since it no longer matters if the killer finds it first

Personally, they should not exist. I dont need more useless stuff in my Bloodweb. But at the very least, they should be secret.

they are survivor friends sided
That's what I said too, to fix this I think they should enable hatch grabs for key users only or for people who jump in the hatch after someone used a key or both.

Not a only are they worthless, but they also take up spaces in the bloodweb. Remove them

they are survivor sided
They need to be made secret if they're going to stay. As they are now they are survivor sided, swf or not. Oh I see the offering? Ok if I'm last I'll just get downed across the map from the hatch. Killer wont make it in time, free escape.
Should probably just be removed, but I cant make 2 votes.

If they want more people to use them, they should make them secret offerings.

they are survivor friends sided
I don't really see any purpose in them other than being abused by SWF. Can't see a killer having any real reason to use them.
At least if they were secret offerings they'd have more purpose as now they could cover up knowing if there was a mori offering.

I think they are fine, but they should be pink, not brown honestly.

Because they are revealed to everyone before the match starts - I don't see much point in them.
Killer will know where to go once hatch spawns. Survivors will know where not to go to avoid basement.

they are balanced
I find that they are a fun idea, but they really REALLY need to be secret for them to have a practical effect that will keep players guessing on both sides

they are survivor friends sided
Sure, but if they will be secret they will be more swf abused because the killer won't know where they wanted the hatch is because they just need to put 2 same offerings and the hatch will spawn where they want

They have a key + they bring a secret offering. Put two and two together - there are only 2 places where hatch can spawn to these offerings. Plus you can see their profiles, if they are on Steam, to know if they are swf. Plus you can bring Mori if you are that desperate against keys. Or just dodge the lobby. I don't think it will be abused that much. People cried about 2 second breaking hooks, calling it OP, when in reality it happens once in a million matches and half of the time unsuccessfully. Even toxic swf will prefer t-bagging at the gates, rather than hatch-teching every game, believe me. Plus, if they want to escape all together - they will still need to finish 5 gens in order for hatch to spawn.

I think that's more reflective of how stupidly broken Keys are rather than a problem with the hatch mechanic itself.
The offering is fine, the keys are not.

I haven't got a strong opinion on this yet. On the one hand, the killer knowing where the hatch will be makes it easier for them to close it after hooking the third survivor. On the other hand if the hatch is far from where the killer hooks the third survivor then the fourth survivor can just go straight there and be out before the killer can get there after the hook. And then there's the complication that survivors with keys will know exactly where to look and there's not much the killer can do about it other than hope they can down the key holder before the hatch appears.
So... they may be good for killer overall on average without keys but with keys they might favor survivors? Hard to say.
