Friend requests for crossplay
Hello! one of my friends has dbd on console now, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to send them a friend request properly, I must be missing something. He says that he's not getting my friend request, so is there like a number code i need to find and put on his name? and if so how the heck do I find it?
EDIT: I forgot to mention I'm on PC

All players have a (4 digit?) code that can be used to send friend requests. If you go to survivor, then click on the invite friend button, you're code will be at the top of the friend list. From memory, in the friend search you put - 'friendsusername#code'. Example: 'Boaris00#G3L2' which will send them a friend request.

I only had to search for their username and that’s it. I don’t remember having to look for 4 digit codes.

It gives you a list of every player with that username over all platforms. If multiple people have that name you'll probably use that code to make sure you get the right player

I was able to find my ps4 account on pc, just type your friend's name account and it should appear.
