Survivor Wait times Post Cross-Play
Anyone else getting insane survivor wait times ever since the crossplay update? It takes forever to get into survivor matches now and seconds to get into killer matches. Survive with Friends is painful to play right now because of the wait times.

Same for me. Killer has been faster for a long while now

Yeah. It can take 10+ minutes to find a match sometimes (edit: solo play, I mean). I tried playing with a friend after the update. We waited 50 minutes and couldn't find a single match that would take both of us. Of course, we tried making new lobbies and un-readying and readying up after waiting for a while, which delayed it more in hindsight.

Even with 4 man its 10 minutes to get into a lobby and then another 15 minutes of constany killer dodges thanks to shittalents "advice"

No. Both queues are near instant and a massive improvement over how they were previously.

Thank god its not just me. I've been searching the forums for awhile now and didn't see that many people talking about it. I get that either killer or survivor are going to be skewed to some degree, but maybe the DBD queue system should cater to "time spent waiting" over these rank systems because this is getting kinda insane.

Thats interesting. What times do you queue survivor/what system?

I wish we could see our "skill" level from the new system to try and figure out if thats playing a role in queue times, since Rank isn't the determining factor anymore

When I had crossplay on my waits were around 10 minutes, turned it off and I'm only waiting a minute or two.

Stop playing easy mode and start playing killer. See a need, fill a need.

I play both. I pretty much only play survivor if I'm playing with friends, which is why this increased wait time is so annoying for SWF.

Mine went down a bit. Used to be 10 minutes, now it's about 7. I guess there's more killers on console.

Near instant? What region/time zone are you in because for me its taking 10+ minutes for survivor.

Gotcha. I know what you mean in that case, I only play survivor when I can play with my brother but he can only play late- when the queues are rough for survivor.

Rank is the determining factor. They turned off MMR right before crossplay went live due to it not working as intended. We're back to the original matchmaker at the moment. No ETA on when MMR will be fixed and return.
The issue seems to be that with Xbox, PS4, Switch, and PC all in the same pool, that consoles seemed to have an abundance of survivor players. My survivor queues increased while my PC killer queues are now extremely fast.

PC NA EST, it used to be instant survivor queues all the time, and ~15+ minute killer queues during the day, every day, until about 10:30 PM and then they would be instant, with a huge influx of South American players, but I would have to go to bed after a game or two.

Weird.. Im NA and mine use to be near instant from 6-11 EST.. but ever since crossplay was released, they've been taking 10+ minutes

My survivor queues were fast before and after crossplay. If anything, my killer queues have improved a lot.

Mine went from 3 mins to around 1.5 mins. Night queues are still around 7 minutes. Killer went up to 5 mins from 3 mins. Night queues minute or less.

It's the opposite for me, survivor is really quick, gets slower in the evenings but still not bad, whereas killer is ALWAYS slow :(
