Hill Glitch is still active. Why?
It's been a week or so since the glitch was found, how has it not been patched? Are the devs really going to wait until the next big update to push it live?

Because they stated the fix isn't coming until the DLC patch in a couple of weeks.

I don't think it is a matter of the DEV choosing to wait. Sometimes what seem like "little" problems require big fixes. I assure you they do not enjoy listening to us complain about the Hungry Hill day in and day out. If it could have been fixed with a simple tweak, it would be done already.

What kind of Developers wait to fix an actual game breaking bug in the next update? They should just push it live ASAP

You won't get any argument from me. But this is BHVR. That's why Overwatch is my main game. I just play this one on the side when bored. They want to run it like a cheap indie game? I'll play it on the side like one. 🤷♂️

Well on PC that isn't a problem but I think getting an update approved for consoles is a lot more time-consuming.

Yeah, BHVR seems to break so much stuff than actually fixing things they should be a demolition expert

that sucks but glad the dc penalty gone for now so if I get stuck I can dc freely.

They would rather have one update over two even though there is still two more weeks before it comes out so yeah glitch is here to stay but if you get stuck run forward and open your menu off and on it should get you out

Or just wait to be downed and back up. Or avoid the hill...
But yeah, ruin the game for the other 3 because something you know happens, happened again after you ran into it.

It really sucks to see, but when I get an assist from the hill as Killer I pull the survivors out and let them reset. At least there's more to look forward to in the next patch?

Tip: If you're stuck in the hill as Killer, give the Hill a smack or two and it'll break you free.

for pc users it will be a simple fix and roll it out. Could have been fixed already but for playstation and xbox users they have to pay fees everytime they roll out updates and patches so its usually rolled into one giant patch every now and again versus lots of smaller ones.

They seen to have a fix, but are still waiting for the next scheduled update.

Back when the Sprint Burst exploit was a thing, it was asked why it took almost two months to fix it. One of the devs mentioned it's due to how the build these updates. Beyond a certain point, they can't go back into the live build and fix something, otherwise the next build would need to be redone. I don't know if that's still true, but whomever thought of building a game like that, where you can't freely go in and fix your code, was pretty short sighted.

talking about being stuck as killer more then survivor,also if I was talking about being a survivor the game already ruin you one man down if that survivor stuck.
fyi I don't dc as survivor ever no point
