What do you think of "the kings" suggestions?

(For anyone who doesn't have time to watch keys=personal,Moris require each survivor to be hooked once, noed you get tokens for hooking survivors which then gives you a instadown. Because running noed on spirit and nurse is just dumb)

    Moris should be on death hook. otherwise, survivors also need an iridescent offering that gives them a gameplay advantage too. Such as... Iridescent Wood: call upon the entity to rebuild 1 pallet every time a generator is completed. Does not stack.


    Keys shouldnt let ANY survivors escape via hatch. If only a single survivor could escape via hatch, then they are screwing the rest of the team. Survivors should be allowed to yeet themselves out of the game, whilst screwing over the rest of the team. Just give dull key 20s of use, and lets keys have a very weak use without addons, such as opening the gate faster.

    Yep lol actually you can use the mind channel at window vaults and window tech a killer every time because you lose collision if you do it as soon as they start vaulting , normal window techs have a timing or you'll end up with collision but this totally eliminates that, and a map works with it as well

    But I watched the video just to respond.

    Memento Mori:

    You can only mori a survivor who has escaped your grasp (through wiggling or DS, not dribbling) once previously in the trial. I really dislike the idea that everyone in the match should have to be hooked before a mori can be used.

    Keys:

    The hatch needs a 15 second opening animation (like the doors). Hatches that can't be opened have a lock displayed on them. Using a key on a locked hatch consumes the key and removes the lock so the survivor can enter the opening animation. No other changes needed.

    NOED:

    Return the 8% reduced missed attack and successful attack cooldowns. Remove instadown on lower tiers. Increase speed gain to 5%. Instadown applies only within 32 meters of the exit gate. It's not a hex perk.

    or

    It is a hex perk. It stays lit all game. All tiers can instadown. Breaking the totem after the exit gates are powered stuns the killer and leaves him/her with the speed bonus.

    Again, really don't like King's thought process. It seems woefully shallow imo, and it reminds me too much of the developers' design ideas (which I increasingly have issues with :/, but it's w/e).

    ngl didnt know you could do that but my respect for green keys with add-ons has increased very slightly.

    still id rather learn the actual timing bc then it's more consistent and fun but if i ever gotta do it quickly thanks for the tip :D

    Keys: Hatch should spawn one generator later. Also no keys in chests unless you have Plunderer's.

    Mori's: Should only be allowed to mori after 4 gens are completed OR after 5 hooks (Same as Devour Hope, but minus the totem)

    NoED: Only necessary change is some indication that all totems have been cleansed. I'm sure killer mains will SCREE at me for that, but just some kind of indication that 'Hey, all the totems have been cleansed' so you're not sitting there thinking "Well, I did 4 totems. This last gen is ALMOST DONE. Surely my team has done a SINGLE totem and I just haven't been able to find it."

    They should remove/rework the moris, and come up with mori system.

    After downing someone 3 times, you get a % chance to mori them.

    The offerings could be changed to slighty increase the % chance.

    Not sure what the % should be.

    Survivors have a 4% chance to unhook. Maybe killers could get a 4% chance to mori after downing a survivor 3 times.

    I didn't actually watch the video, nor do I follow these mori threads, but can someone tell me why everyone wants them deleted? Couldn't they just make them only applicable on death hook?

    Mori offerings should go entirely, instead killers can mori on third down after fulfilling some kind of killer specific criteria similar to pyramid head though the requirements would have to be a much more difficult.

    keys should be removed from the blood web and instead one spawns in the basement after 2 people die. this still gives survivors a way out that isnt totally free.

    And now for the REALLY unpopular opinion NOED should be nerfed ( instead of instadown make it it a huge haste buff or something) but made baseline. This gives survivors a second objective that people ask for a lot but makes it a risk/reward kind of thing.

    Obviously changes like this would require many other things to be reworked.

    Making them apply on hook death would make mories actively detrimental to run as most mori animations are longer then just hooking a survivor and the point gain difference is negligible.

    To give you an idea there is a mori that is only usable on death hook in the game and its the Cypress mori aka the useless one.

    His NOED change was pretty ass, ngl but everything else seemed fine.

    He forgot yellow mori exist which probably shouldn't change or just be base so killers can see the animations more when there is only 1 survivor left.

    NOED being a totem and a token based resource that get depleted at the end game seems not that great, I say as long as the killer gets a certain amount of hooks before endgame they get noed and if it gets cleansed tough cookies, keep it the way it is but doesn't reward bad killers that can't get hooks before gens are done.

    I was at first a bit tilted about people wanting to change moris and NOED; because well, read my name :).

    But hey, after watching the ideas of this guy, I'm not. I mean, those changes make a loooot of sense, I would be fine with them.

    I gotta admit that trinity is toxic for the fame in the current state.

    I think that the mori idea should be 4 hooks overall, not on all individual survivors. That gives far too much control into hands of SWF to deny the mori until everyone besides 1 of them hiding would be on death hook. 4 hooks overall before it can be used still prevents the instant off first hook tunnel mori and gives survivors breathing room.

    Keys being personal doesn't really solve many problems. You can still have two survivors escape through the hatch. Which is pretty annoying. One goes through with a key, the second goes through because they're the last survivor left and the hatch opens for them.

    Just had a match where two escaped through the hatch. And it was frustrating because I had done well. Hooked two people three times, hooked another one twice, and the last guy I had hooked once. 4 gens got done, but I had a nice three gen set up. Two people were all that were left. They managed to find a key however, and escaped through the hatch leaving me with brutal killer and only 19k bloodpoints.

    Did I make any mistakes? Not really. Never got stunned by a pallet, ended my chases very quickly. It's not like I was in overly long chases. I didn't tunnel. When David #2 hopped in a locker, I figured he had DS and ignored him, and found David #1 and downed him about 15 seconds later. I played about as well as you might expect a low tier killer like Pig to play! Sure, I wasn't Nurse downing people in 5 seconds, but I wasn't committing to overly long chases, kept finding survivors, and downed them pretty quickly. Yet, I still wound up with just 19k bloodpoints. Which yeah, is more than if a killer brings a mori. But what honestly could I have done differently? There's no way to combat a key without franklin's. And these survivors didn't bring a key into the match. They found it. There's pretty much nothing I could've done to extend the match. Gens were bound to get done. I guess I could've avoided killing ANYONE in the match, and hooked them all twice before hooking them a third time. But is that really playing optimally on the off chance that hey, maybe they have a key? I'm curious to know how you're supposed to do more, when the survivors find something so broken in the match itself. Not even bringing it in. I should've easily gotten a 3K. Might have even gotten a 4K. Instead, I wound up with a 'tie' with 9 hooks and not enough BP to come out of the match satisfied.

    Blood Amber on a Skele key with his perk though; 7.5 extra seconds of aura reading (with Streetwise, even more). And you can open the hatch too.

    Just because it's not the strongest loadout doesn mean it's not damned close. I'd take it over anything but a bloodamber skeleton key or supercharge medkit.

    if you want a noed change only activate insta down once the egc activates I.E once the gates open or the hatch gets shut

    I love the king but i disagree with him on this, Key's should be reworked and have NOTHING to do with the hatch we dont need anymore second chances for survivors, Ebont moris should be made into last hook moris, ivory moris the same and cypress moris basekit, as for noed its fine as is do bones.

    Most mori animations are longer than just hooking them so if they are on death hook and you mori them it would just waste time

    Feel free to disagree, but I personally think that Moris should be purely aesthetic offerings, with little to no impact on the gameplay. In their current state, they're obviously pretty frustrating, since you can just remove an entire hook state and kill survivors absurdly fast, and in my opinion, pushing the requirement to death hook wouldn't be that big of an issue.

    Sure, you would lose a few seconds from killing a survivor with a mori rather than hooking them, but offerings aren't really supposed to help the players in any significant way. Moris are viewed primarily as an aesthetic thing, and for that reason, I dont see why they need to make the killer stronger.

    If offerings shouldn't effect gameplay in any way then shouldn't all the fog darkeners and map offerings be removed as both of those entire categories effect gameplay(Trust me using an offering to go to "the game" as doctor effects my gameplay by a lot).

    Or the hook distance offering in a sabotage squad game.

    The retired splinter offerings quiet literally changed your gameplay by changing your killer.

    The devs are also adding in an entire new offering category that effects where the basement or hatch spawns.


    The only offerings that don't have an effect on gameplay are blood point offerings.

    It's easy , just get your friends go into kyf and put on a green key with a gold token and prayer beads or put on a map with some jelly and range add ons , go to shack and hold mind channel when he starts vaulting and run back the other way , just don't wait too long because it's only while he's stuck in the animation and they won't be able to see you though good headphones may hear you running you might be able to find one someone else already made or I can just make it next time I'm on

    Yes you have to have add ons that allow you to mind channel on the key and it's also in any point during the vault but if you wait too long when the animation is ending you will get stuck from them regaining collision lmao I've used this before and vaulted back through a window on a killer with bamboozle before it could affect the window and they turned around looked at me and DC

    keys should take 12 or more seconds to open the hatch and give a directional sound as it opens at like 40m and opening the hatch doesn't save progress if you stop/get interrupted, this is what a thought out idea is and not a half ass one. of course time and distance you can hear the hatch being opened can be changed to be more balanced but its a lot better than instead of 2 or 3 instant escapes you get 1... if there is only 1 key.

    that has counter play and interaction with the killer which is what it needs, ESCAPES SHOULD NOT BE INSTANT AND SAFE which is the MAIN problem with keys.

    Mori's should get a rework but i think a better mori idea can be presented but if it came to it sure i'd accept that rework. but i would like it to activate mid match and you can only mori hooked survivors. say like at 5 minutes the survivors get notified that they can be mori'd if they have been hooked, hell it can be a new status effect.

    noed is fine and that change is just a worse devour hope, sure 2 hooks you get 1 insta down but at 3 hooks with devour you get it as long as the totem is alive and you can get devour to activate really early and has an amazing last effect when you get to 5 tokens, you can even get to 4 or if your really lucky 5 tokens before the survivors even know you have it. plus that noed idea sounds like it encourages tunneling since you get more tokens from already hooked survivors.

    Also who else thinks king is annoying.

    No bamboozle takes just a second after they vault but you lose collision during the vault with mind channel and can run through them or stand literally inside their body and vault back through as soon as they finish

    NOED is no problem, if they just put in a totem counter or candles in the basement that show how many are done / up. Mori / Key can be deleted, both are similar toxic.

    Skeleton Keys only in chest 50/50 chance finding in chests. 10% increased chance with Plunder.

    Only survivor who finds it gets to use it.

    Red Mori Basekit. Get rid of needless sacrifices on hooks. "You're A Killer, Harry." Requirments, Downing A survivor 3 times.

    *Three Strikes, You're Out* Slaughtered.

    Regression 99 Gates when survivor is chased off. Or leaves the gate at all, 10m away from the gate. Regress at 10% every 1s.

    Also get rid of Map Offerings. It should be out of random luck map is what you get.
