Otions to turn off the afterchat
So I have been playing for like a 1 year now and one thing i realized for sure is that the dbd community is toxic as hell. I mean as a rank 12 trapper i got a 4 kill match against rank 4 surviviors. And the afterchat went insane once the game was over.
Here is the story: i used the perk insidious ,noed ,brutal strength and surge and once a hooked one survivor i got up on a hill to look for others and my insidous perk activíted when a noticed one of the survivors sneaking closer to the hooked one so a started the chase obviously and that was my tactic to get all 4 of them. After the match i got called babykiller camper, uninstall this game etc. One of them even got stuck so a let them wiggle free.
I already wrote a story in one the discussions about another story when i played as the demogorgon and hooked 1 survivor and ALL the others were there trying to rescue him .... then i got called camper.. like when i am goint to leave when everyone is at the same place , duh ... a lot of players don't realize that the objective of the killer is to KILL. Even if he is using a "toxic" tactic. like i got called tunneler a lot just cuz i chase someone too long. Well then i could them loopers since they are going rounds and rounds and rounds at the same location.( and i get it they must survive somehow but they fail to realie that i have to kill. That is my objective as the KILLER)
And one more thing a realized is that it's always the top rank players.
When a rank 10 or above killer (me speaking from experience) kills them and they are rank 6 and below. Thier attitude gets toxic as hell in the chat. So thats is that is my idea... an option to turn off the chat in the options so you don't see it.....
Don't get me wrong i am not offended or something i really REALLY love this game and yes a ignored these players but after a while it gets frustrating when after every single match i get called names and such.

You can. Just click the little arrows by the chatbox and it'll close and stay closed until you click it again.

What do you mean, I never realized this community was toxic and I've been playing for two years. I have only met nice people.

Press the arrows within the red circle and box closes, never to be opened again. Unless, you press the arrows once more.

You can't resist opening it just to taste the salt though. You'll start to miss it.

So much this. Dbd gaming experience just doesn't feel complete without trashtalk.
