I want to play spirit but...
Im actually half deaf so i cant hear with my left ear, does this make it impossible for me to play spirit? I really wanna try her but i really struggle with hearing so is it worth trying?

Spirit can very rewarding if you’re able to listen out for certain sounds like the grass moving and footsteps when survivors run. You could maybe try running Stridor to make survivors louder when injured and when breathing. You also don’t have to just rely on sound, scratch marks and blood can help you track down a survivor and she even has a add on to help :).

It might make it harder but not impossible. A decent spirit can still often find survivors with iron will with good prediction. Also if you become a spirit main and someone complains that all you need to play spirit is two working ears you'll have a very satisfying comeback.

I play her with Predator because sounds are too inconsistent, it helps a lot to understand where they are going or if they are trying some cheeky mindgame.

Scratches and anticipation are probably more essential than hearing as Spirit. Hearing is like another perk, you can win without perks. Good luck :)

It's a common misconception perpetuated by lazy killers and fed-up survivors, but in reality she doesn't really need sound. A good spirit will demolish just because she worms her way in your head and screws with your confidence. A good spirit will make you question whether or no she is actually good at spirit right before she gets you.
Read your opponents. It's okay if they outplay you at first - your a goddamn Spirit, adapt to it. Predict what they're going to do, use your power in short bursts to position yourself in the area you think they'll run/vault to. Stridor makes it so you react, not predict, but unlike Nurse, Spirit doesn't get hurt by playing the prediction game, since she can immediately try again.

Sound is one of her best tools but you will hear sounds in both ears no matter which direction it comes from, even with one ear just hear loud they are to that side quiet they are to the other side, also perdition is another strong tool, predicting you opponent gets really fast hits and downs

Run Stridor, and when you can, Run Father's Glasses. It makes tracking that much easier. Maybe even sloppy butcher with the glasses? Idk.

Yes,hearing is important in order to track survivors,but don't forget that you can see them moving in the grass or corn too.

I generally run Bloodhound with her, hit them and then phase after the bright blood trails 👍

Its not a good idea specially with all the sound bug the game have plus your handicap you wont have a good time against good survivor

I broke my headset and tried this for her. It'll probably work for you. Run fathers glasses and bloodhound and use blood instead of moans.

You can't outplay a spirit. It isn't possible, because you're guessing. Other than that, you are right.

I play spirit I just use the tv speaker.

It becomes "outplaying" when you're consistent at it. Call it guessing all you want, when someone literally never changes a poor tactic it's super easy to avoid them. No "guessing" involved.

They really are, honestly. Most people use her phasing for mobility and not in chase. These are the spirits I 5 gen run.

She's the second strongest killer in the game! Your probably not good at listening for clues for their location and predicting them

The last time I ran Father's glasses which was many patches ago, the blood was already glowing in Spirit's phase world. So I don't think you need bloodhound with Father's glasses.

I honestly find it way harder to follow scratch marks with Predator. I wish they;d make it so scratch marks are light blue or something as well with that perk. Some maps with it will hide them entirely under grass.

You'll need to be deaf in both eyes and also blind to not be good at spirit. Enjoy the EZ 4Ks
