Will cross saves overwrite or merge?
I think they said cross saves would be coming in September. Just wondering if theres any new info on how they'll work. I'm aware that PS4/Xbox saves are up in the air right now if we'll get them or not. I want to know if I should stick to levelling/doing rifts on my main console save or switch to PC full time.
Merge would be ideal to keep shards and such but I assume overwriting would be easier.

Please note that Cross Progression will only be available on Steam, Stadia & Switch for the time being, there is no guarantee as to whether it will come to other platforms in the future.

so some sort of merge will take place, while it’s not sure what exactly will merge, because in some cases it has to be ‚either ... or‘ such as prestige level of characters

I hope I can merge my tome/rift progress and cosmetics. Cross purchased DLC would be nice but I'm not holding my breath on that. Thanks for the info. I really hope you guys can try to get xbox and ps4 cross saves.
I think you might lose a decent amount players if you make a next gen version but force save file restarts.
