To all the PC players that bash on console players...
Now I wanna start by saying that I’m not trying hate or bash on umbra because I actually love her and lover her content and in my eyes she’s a very good killer on pc but some people that I’m really close with on Xbox played against her twice in one day around 3 days ago (,yes it was a SWF) and did a good job and managed to get 2 people out on 1 match and 3 on the other. Umbra is a very chill streamer so she didn’t really complain. But this is an example for the people on PC that you guys are escapable and killable. Ever since cross-play came out it’s disgusting how pc players especially some of the TTV streamers bash on console players for being bad. I play on PC as well and it’s safe to say that all platforms play the same way just cause you’re on M&K doesn’t mean crap.

There's bad and good players on both sides. The main advantage of PC is the generally higher FPS but I think Console players can and will adapt to their environment and play just as good, if not better, than PC. Except for Killers.. who's so gimped on Console.
PC players got an issue with.. elitism? Entitlement? There's a reason why PC MASTER RACE is a meme.

I don't think anyone actually thinks that. That's kinda a strawman.
Not justifying people actually being toxic towards anyone, but the difference between PC and the crossplay survivors/killers is extremely noticeable, at least from all the games I've been experiencing.

PC vs Console has been around for a while and isn't going anywhere. It's nothing more than an asinine, childish e-peen contest. What does it matter what random internet people or some Streamers think? Do the players know they're good? Then that's all that matters.
For the life of me, I don't understand why people put so much stock into what complete strangers hiding behind a screen think of them.

I know a lady that smoked her whole life and didn't get lung cancer. Does that mean smoking doesn't cause lung cancer? No, that would be silly.
My statement is a generality, not that literally every single cross play player is bad.

I believe they are speaking in generalities for the most part. So when you say always the case, I don't think that's what they're actually implying. I think they just mean in general PC players play better, not all. They could probably say it in a nicer way though given the experience you're having.

Both have good and bad players ofc, but from what i have experienced, console players are overall worse. Call me biased or whathever you want i dont care, i am just honest.
You apparently missed all the "PC players are sweaty" and "PC players are aholes" threads.
PC players are overall just more competetive and this results in a much more competetive scene. There is a reason why E-Sports is still irrelevant on console - compared to PC.

Are we just going to ignore all of the console players victimising themselves, blaming every bad match on hackers, bad optimisation (not everyone has a good PC) or "keyboard advantage" (it took me like 3 games to get the hang of a controller, the only disadvantage I have is as precision killers) and constantly going on about how PC players bully and belittle them even though there's more posts about bully PC players than actual PC bullies?

I don't understand the point of this post? Pc and console survivor are exactly the same potential wise as neither are restricted by their controlls. The only disparity between pc and console are killers as they are limited by both the controlls and how well the game runs on their system.
The complaints come from the quality of the players as console is more casual than pc, and has developed different abusable mechanics due to the conditions on console that don't work against pc killers.
I have never seen this much use of urban evasion since the perk came out

You do know that she lowkey disses console players as well right? it's just a running gag at this point. Are there amazing console players? Absolutely. However, there are more console players than pc players. Therefore, there's a higher likelihood to run into bad console killers/survivors. Plus, the bad optimization and lower refresh rate does not help.

My only problem with console players and even some pc player is the fact they do not watch they're surroundings at all. In my experience I was doing a gen with another console player. I saw the shape stalking us from a good distance away and I moved out of the way. The console player did not move. The shape had unlimited tier 3 and got it on that one survivor. We only managed to get one gen done before he was able to down all 3 console player before he saw me trying to revive one of them. The console player did not even bother to try and heal himself, I had to heal him from 0. Needless to say he chased me down and downed me. I'm not trying to bash on console players I know there are good ones out there, some of them are better then pc players. Can console players not see as far as pc players? Am I missing something? Iv had a pc player complain to me that I didn't heal them all the way and that's why he died, when I clearly saw bubba coming our way and hid. He stood there until he heard the heartbeat and then ran away. Getting downed shortly after. It always seems to come down to the player not watching they're surroundings

I was on the forums the first week crossplay came out so I know you're full of crap. The forum was littered with posts by console players complaining about how difficult it was to play against PC players and how they're going to disable crossplay or demanding that the devs only allow crossplay between consoles. The only insults from PC players came when they started making some stupid arguments and got called out on their stupidity. For example: you're lying about there being some common trend about PC players insulting console players so I'm going to call you a liar who's full of crap.

All I have to say is that until crossplay I haven't ever seen so many people ignore someone hooked or run away from the hook when a person that's saved them a couple times finally could use a hand.
I like the increased player pool and not all of them are bad, some are really good, but I haven't that I can recall had so many games where my 1st phase becomes the struggle phase.
I'm wondering if it might be better to not show in the lobby who the crossplay people are.

If you play on PC, then play a few matches ona friend's Xbox or whatever (especially killer on Lery's with a fog offering) and then say its the same game.

I played against a freakin Ghostface last night and he was the only console player. He mopped the floor with all 4 of us (I was a solos dunno about the other 3).

YOU’RE the one full of crap because If I didn’t see PC players on the forum talking about how console plays are trash then I obviously wouldn’t have made this post right? You think I posted it just to post it? Yeah there WERE threads about how console players think that there should be an option to play with console players ONLY in fact, there were too many to count but I’ve also ran across threads from many PC players talking about how trash console players are and what not stop calling me a liar and hop off while you’re are it.

I was giving this feature a run for a week. But got fed up with every second killer camping (and being a console killer somehow) and overwhelming number of console survs (don't saying it's all) wandering around the map like lost children in the fog. I'm pretty bad at DbD, but they were worse. Turned crossplay of for my own sanity.

Most people disconnecting against me cause they get downed or fail ds’ if me have been crossplay. I’ll leave it at that

I have seen a lot more people calling out PC players for calling out console players than I have actually seen PC players calling out console players.
It does happen occasionally, but uhh, it's not like this big epidemic or anything. You guys take forum BS too seriously.

Fact is that we PC players have a certain skill level and most of consoles players we play with are not at our level of skill...
Guys, you are playing urban evasion, self-care... and you hide in corners, half the game you are crouch hidding somewhere...
Not all of you are bad, but clearly, there is a huge skill gap between PC players and consoles players.
It's not about backlashing you, it's not a fantasm from PC players thinking they are pro, it's the way it is, we clearly don't play at the same level.
And i agree with @Thrax, since crossplay has been released, we PC players encounter many survivors that don't help and many killers that only know how to tunnel/camp.
