Legion and my moral compass...

Legion have been my favourite killer since they dropped, but for the past few months I’ve been experimenting with other killers as I feel like the best way to counter a killer as a survivor is to know how they operate. Anyway, I started playing as my baby daddy Frank a few days ago and I’ve noticed that survivors will either DC or completely give up which then puts me in a dilemma.

I personally think survivors look so adorable when they just give up and I can’t bring myself to kill them. Which then leads to me travelling around the map and letting them pallet stun me and doing the ‘feral frenzy moonwalk’ whilst they fix gens in front of me

I don’t mind doing this once in a while but in almost every match this was happening. To the point I had to switch to Trapper to get normal matches. It’s really tough as I love Legion so much and don’t want to give them up, but survivors just seem to hate playing against them and it just makes the games no fun for me, as where’s the fun in killing somebody who’s just standing still?

I also just recently bought Robbie the Rabbit and want to show him off. 😭 🐰

I guess it depends on the rank you're playing in. Legion is just a noob stomper, and at red ranks he's one of the worst killers.

And please never say "baby daddy Frank" again. Please??

I’m a rank 1 killer and it’s normally purple/red ranks that give up. And sorry, I can’t do that. Frank is my baby daddy and that’s just a fact. 🤰🏻

Some survivors live in their own world.

They think that the game has to be how they would like to see it. Missing the point that it should entertain many branches of different people.

If you encounter such survivors, you should kill them. With satisfaction.

How ever, if they really have no chance and play fair and nice, why not meme a bit around with them and have fun?

I had many fun matches with the old Legion and even then the new Legion is designed to be boring as hell, you can as killer still make fun with the survivors so that everyone enjoys the match.

I don't get why people DC against Legion. Or Freddy. But especially Legion. Freddy's strong, sure. But he's not THAT strong. You don't see people dcing against Spirit or Nurse. And Legion? Like seriously? I don't get the hate for them. I don't mind facing Legion as long as my teammates don't DC. Just like I don't mind facing any killer in the game (minus OP stuff). Legion can't even down you with his/her power!

Wish every survivor would be like you. You seem to have the survivor mindset how it is necessary for this game (I mean this positive).

The truth is sadly, that many survivors dc for every possible reason. The wrong killer, the wrong killer perk, the wrong survivor perks, they being the first hook, the wrong map... Etc. You got it by now, I guess.

I have no high opinion of such survivors and I wish bhvr would not listen to them, but they have do it sadly at least sometimes in the past.

I've heard that he's a noob stomper but what's the trick to beat him is it just stay separated? He goes into that raised knife mode and is fast af.

I wouldn’t say I play in a ‘sweaty’ way or anything. I think a lot of people don’t like the constant mending and it probably doesn’t help that I use Thanataphobia, but it’s a strong perk to use on them, so why wouldn’t I? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just don’t experience this with any other killers. Obviously, I can get DC’s with other killers but not as consistent as when I play Legion. If it happens a lot throughout a single day, I will start being more merciless and just killing everybody but part of the fun for me is having to actually outplay the survivors to get them down. Them just crouching and nodding at me in complete defeat brings me no joy and it makes me feel bad about sacrificing them. I just end up recruiting them to be a member of Legion. 😂

The only thing I can think of is that they can counter immersive survivors by exposing their position and the fact you have to keep mending. Maybe it’s because I main them, but I find them easy to counter when I’m the survivor. It’s possible to bait out a hit to make them miss their FF which then for the next few seconds turns them into a basic M1 killer.

-Stay separated if possible as you already said before.

-Never ever repair gens with other people because the changes are high that you run in discordance, the only really accepted Legion perk in the whole community (feeled - even I like every Legion perk :)).

-Try to animate the Legion player, to activate his frenzy power. His power is his biggest weakness, since he can't see much while he is in frenzy and is then trapped between 2 possible stun situations, that would give you time to get space to him.

Also learn to juke. If you do it while the Legion is in frenzy, it can often safe you. Especially if you are in a area with many things to hide behind it.

-Learn mindgames. It will also help you against the most other killers.

-Play stealthy if that is a option for you. While the killersight is strong from the Legion, he still can be lose against a well coordinated stealth team, since he need first to hit a survivor before he can see other survivors.

There are more, but this are the most obvious and known counters.

    Edit: @ScienceGirl

Well, mending is a not very loved by the survivors. On the other hand - what else should a Legion do? Bhvr has rob us of any alternative, so it isn't our fault. Before the rework patch, some Legion mains warned bhvr even for this situation, but they had stick their head in the ground and just done their thing, so that now everyone suffers because of it -_-.

Still, dcing is too much. From my experience btw., dcs sind with every killer possible, if you outplay the survivor team.

Don't feel bad. If you play fair, you have done what is possible. If that is not enough for a specific survivor, he just should leave and enjoy his 15 min+ waiting time for the next match.

If everything runs perfectly, 5 people have fun in the match they are currently playing. If 1 likes to destroy it for everyone he just should go. Out of sight, out of mind, hm?

@Talmeer thank you. But on the generator note unless you get notified on who you're facing aren't you kind of in a dilemma when you first start the match and don't know who the killer is?

I did not know his vision was different while in frenzy is it narrowed or something?

Edit: nevermind my generator comment I reread and noticed you mentioned specifically his perk.

Maybe it's just because I play killer quite a bit too, (Including a lot of Freddy and some Legion, though I suck at Legion.) Some survivors just get so salty when they can't escape. I often get messages from teammates who only seem to care about escaping (Yet they don't do gens or pretty much anything...) whining about something.

Almost want to turn my messages off, but I sometimes get nice messages too. And I've met some pretty cool people as well. (Usually as killer, funny enough, rather than survivor)

Yes, sorry, my english is not the best one, someone can have :)

If you like, you can watch how the Legion sees the world while he is frenzy, here (at around 0:34):

As you can see, no scratch markes, no nothing and you moving fast - means the changes are higher that you miss to recognize something on your way, while you run around.

Especially in the beginning, it is easy to juke him, if you learn how to do it, but you need to be in a area for it with many hiding spots.

@Talmeer alright I get it now it's easier to juke him. Thanks a bunch.

I've been having a hard time whenever he shows up.
