Let's talk about genrushing
Genrushing is a term for when survivors...rush gens. But recently I've seen a lot of killers use it as an excuse to convince themselves they never really lost. I'll give my opinion on it so you can tell me how wrong I am.
I have two scenarios:
Map: Thompson House
Killer: Ghostface
These survivors were absolutely glued to gens. When I was carrying a survivor, they did gens in front of my face. They didn't go for bones or even hook saves, even though I wasn't camping. They also neglected to heal, but this is most likely because I was running Sloppy Butcher. Despite their commitment to gens, I managed a 4k thanks to the fact that they never went for any saves. This qualifies as genrushing because they ignored all other objectives. The important part here is that generators didn't necessarily go by quickly because they kept dying because they gave me free grabs.
Map: Azarov's
Killer: Demogorgon (pretty sure I misspelled that)
Generators absolutely flew in this match. But I was usually able to find a couple of survivors at a time off gens. They did bones, went for the unhook, closed all my portals, and yet the match was under 10 minutes long. This is because they actually worked as a team. Oh, and they brought toolboxes. Was it genrushing? No, It was my fault for being a bad killer, and of course the fact that they were an SWF and all had toolboxes worked in their favor as well.
And if anyone tells me to "get gud" I swear

I consider myself a decent killer, never camping or tunnel unless I see survivors make genrush.
On the contrary survivors very rarely want a chase, only repair and open gates, in these circumstances I play dirty against these players.

"You can have 3 gens pop in 60s, if survivors play it right, regardless of what you do. One minute to have the game 60% over. Pair that with hiding/immersed/stealthy survivors and the game is basically over. For this reason Urban evasion, Spine Chill, Quick and Quiet, and Sprint Burst is my least favorite perk combo. Especially when paired with toolboxes and blendettes. Is playing the game that way even fun? Hiding when you hear the terror radius and playing M1 simulator when you don't?"
The above is my comment on another post. This is my worst case "Gen-rushing" scenario. If 3-4 gens pop in under 2 minutes that is a gen-rush and there are times you can do nothing about it.

If 3 gens pop in 60s they have used up toolboxes and have managed to not be chased off gens. Which usually means they did the generators at the edges of the map. At this point focus your efforts into protecting the generators in the middle of the map and play territorialy. Hook caught survivors in the middle of your gens, take free hits to make them go heal. Keep gens regressing.

Gen rushing isn't a thing. A "gen rush" should happen every game, and the only reason it doesn't is because most solo queue survivors either refuse to do the only objective they have or can't last 10 seconds in a chase. The first 3 gens should be done within 2-3 minutes every game.

I don't understand. The goal of the game is to finish the generators and escape. If there's no reason to do bones, why would you? I think if survivors are sticking gens instead of unhooking, then its a problem, but it sounds like the survivors are just playing the game. You also got a 4k, so whats the problem? Gens are supposed to pop. Run ruin or something.

u are completely wrong if it's possible to make generator in less than 60 seconds

Genrushing isn't a thing unless survivors specifically brought perks, items, and addons to do gens quicker. Another situation is if they just focus on just gens and ignore literally every other objective like hook saving and healing up.
For the most part in my experience, killers use the term incorrectly. At this stage of the game, gens are not the issue. Certain maps and certain tiles are.

Ok. Did you saw or heard them close before picking up the survivor? If the gen was close, did you give a fast checking up on it? What are your reasons to pick a survivor (and put them on the hook)? I know gen speed is a problem, but as a rank 1 killer I've experienced that 99% of the time I got genrushed the actual problem was me making mistakes or trying to play cool. Most of the time, genrushing is a direct result of killer's inability to put pressure on the map.
If you see that you're going against very altruistic survivors that do gens in your face, bodyblock injured survivors and mostly follow the killer to pallet save/gimmick to buy time for other survivors finish other gens, you need to play accordingly. Firstly, start slugging to force people off gens. The moment you slug someone and immediatly start chase with another you will be pressuring 3 survivors: 1 is slugged, 1 is being chased and 1 is running for the save. You downed another one and see another survivor? Keep slugging until you have all team injured and clustered around you and off gens. Don't assume that survivors aren't healing because you've got Sloppy Butcher. Most optimal survivors will only heal when they're grouped up, which means they will mostly spend most of the match injured. This being said, against very good SWFs Sloppy Butcher is a wasted perk slot, try slowdown perks like Corrupt Intervention, PGTW or slugging perks like Infectious Fright.
I would like to introduce you to Infectious Fright, a very good perk against very altruistic survivors.
I would like also give a small tip about slugging. After everybody's on the ground, pick the ones that you downed first to prevent unbreakable. As you can see below later in the same match, I've started with Cheryl, later Zarina and later Nea. If I've had picked up Zarina or Nea first, Cheryl would have had proc'd her unbreakable and the match wouldn't be over.
My advice for you is to search for ways to increase your pressure around an area so the survivors are forced to leave gens and come to you. If you see a cluster around a generator that's the best scenario for you not the worst, because you can easily gain a lot of free hits and even slugs if you play properly. The worst type of survivors that you'll face aren't the altruistic ones, but the ones who stealth all game and let friends die on hooks, if you want to understand why, watch some competitive DbD.

Prove Thyself, No mither, This Is Not Happening and Resilience.
Engineer's Toolbox, Brand New Part and Socket Swivels.
u can check for yourself if don't believe me.
3 survivors with this build on 60 seconds 3 gens and the fourth survivor for example could be with the killer on chase

Biggest thing that everyone ignores about gen-rush is how much it hurts BOTH sides. If the best you can hope for is a safety, then you are clearly playing the game wrong.
I'd rather have a long 20 minute match, where everyone double-pips but there was 3 or 4 kills than a 5 minute safety only because there's interaction with both sides.

Before know Legion I was camp and tunnel, but now I survivor rush !😀
More you hit the survivors, more you win time, lot of time !

Yes! That's why I hate playing against Tombstone Myers and love playing against Forever Freddy. Against Tombstone Myers everybody needs to genrush before he starts moring everybody which most of the time results on everybody escaping and gaining a safe pip, but against Forever Freddy everybody will probably die but win a ton of points, everybody wins. 😣

If people say "gen rush" there can be discussion about all sorts of things. From gens themselves to chase duration, map sizes, tiles, map generation and all sorts of other things that might be varying degrees of... imperfect, to put it that way. As it's all part of what determines how a match plays out, and changing one can have effects on many or all of the others.
If people say "gen rushER(S)" then it's just scrub whining, someone directing their grievances with the game onto players instead of the relevant parts of the game and no better than the at times rampant player shaming based on the perks, killer or whatever else they're using. Ignore and do not engage with.

Forever Freddy is a bit of a different story. I don't feel like I had a chance once a Forever Freddy gets going.

That's a very particular set of circumstances, that's frankly unrealistic. I have never witnessed somebody trying to run this build.
Discordance counters the Prove Thyself and a use of Pop counters the BNP.
In exchange they:
are one-hit downs
make injured groans, albeit quieter than normal
Have no exhaustion perk to make distance or dodge a hit
No DS to stop you from tunneling them

Killers manage to kill only two survivors a game.
In red ranks, survivors get a four man escape most of the time.
I hope you don't read this part, but the four escape is when going against a non red rank killer.
try Again :-)

Kill rates depend on what killer is being played, but they usually average between 2 and 3 kills. But if you have a good team of survivors, you can win far more often than you'd think.

hardly gain time hitting survivors because the new meta is repair gens injured while ignoring danger because they are invulnerable with DS.

I've met this kind of survivors... they all ended up on the hook at the last generator !🤣
DS ? Decisive strike ?
I didn't have any problem on this level, because when they come to save or to get down I hit.
Yesterday I put down a looper, I camped him on the ground, they had 1 generator to finish... they came but they didn't know where to look for their friend. I thought to myself "why don't they come to take care of their friend anymore?" I understood that it was my addon that paralyzes the aura! I managed to get all three of them, they were very good survivors, red and purple ranks, flashlight, loops ...
Since I understood that Legion was the rush, I completely forgot that I sucked before ! Legion is the best
Yes, we need limit, 2 repairs and not 3 at the same time, we have to stop the rush gen ! A little tired of games that end in 5 minutes.😕

I'm a killer main and I dont understand the term gen rushing.
I thought the survivors were supposed to get gens done fast.
If it turns into a quick match you move onto the next one, it doesnt take as long now cross play is here.

I don't find it to be an issue with 4 solo survivors (even if the have toolboxes etc.), but with 3 or 4 SWF player groups.... well.. decide yourself:

The Game is not balanced for super slow or super fast survivor and bhvr has to stop tryin to balance it with perks .. the best you can do is stay at rank 8-10 and most of your games are rather balanced.
