I'll be that guy I hated... Blight isn't that great.

I'm usually pretty reserved when it comes to new Chapters. Waiting 2-4 weeks when a new Killer/Perks are released to get a feel for them and see how they fair when put into actual games and not against potato survivors. Everyone screams nerf this/buff this and that crowd usually goes quiet after some time has passed. But after playing Blight for a couple dozen matches, he just isn't that great. His power is extremely map dependent (my first map as him was Hawkins because someone used that offering, only walked away with 1 hook, 1 Kill. Only got a Kill because I used a Mori to see his Mori. It's expected when I play a new Killer but the Survivor's skill level was pretty bad too).

Aside from traversing the map, it just isn't useful in most chases at Red Ranks and provides little reward for it's use. Especially when Survivors know how to juke Billy, they can easily juke Blight. You can get more use out of Demo's Shred if you're a complete newbie to his power compared to Blight's Charge if you're seasoned. His chase music is just not great to listen to, his music in general is mediocre. His Mori animation has little imagination. He's just a very bright M1 Killer.

The only great thing about him that they seemed to put effort into was his design, backstory, and perks. Better than most other Killers. But beyond the superficial stuff, he was honestly just disappointing and this is the FIRST time I've ever regretted buying DLC because he just isn't fun to play or play against. I honestly find him boring and I never thought I'd be using that word. I find more fun going against Freddy or Spirit than him.

Hopefully time passes and my mind changes but this chapter, this update, just isn't that great.

Edit: Didn't use Compound 7, I focused on base. A Killer should be decent enough on their own without relying heavily on an add-on.
