DS nerf not mentioned in patch notes / Bug?
Me and my friends just went against a Spirit. She got hit by DS twice, both times the stun only lasted 2 or 3 seconds. Smth like that.
From hitting the skillcheck to her moving in not even 3 seconds.
Extreme DS nerf, not mentioned in patch notes.

It seems like the stun duration is shorter, if it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes, it would be probably another bug.

most likely an unintentional bug. People have been saying pallet stuns are shorter too but never confirming Enduring is being run or not (but since new enduring doesn't effect DS its very noticeable for folks too). I got DS'd as blight just a match ago and basically ran down the guy who DS'd me without even my power - so not sure if it is every single time but it's apparently a thing for now.

DS is supposed to stun for 3 secs (or 4, i forgot). It was buffed because of enduring, but never reverted back.

Which was fine, since 3 seconds, even without Enduring, was too short to gain distance at all.
Guess while this Bug is going on, we will say way more tunneling. Yay.

It should be fixed within a week. This bug is actually gross you have no time to make distance. Also stop making it an us vs them conversation.

Facts haven't lied, it's been over a year with nurse bugs and still no fix, DS didn't worked against doctor after the rework and got fixed in less than a week.
So it's not a us vs them it's just stating facts.

Facts haven't lied, it's been over a year with all these dedicated hits through windows and no fix, huntress couldn't get hatchet hits up close and got fixed in less than three days.

Probably because a bug on one perk against one killer was easier to fix than an entire killer power that is bugged and also has unique bugs on almost every map.

Huntress is latency and the change of the hatchet's hitboxes, most dedicated window hits happen because of how hitboxes work.
It really isn't a us vs them, just saying facts, they care more for 1 side than the other.

If I recall correctly, DS was always supposed to be like this. The devs changed Enduring to not affect perk stuns and then were supposed to nerf DS back to a 3 second stun. Don’t think of it as a bug, think of it as the game actually trying to help the devs.

Not sure what you’re trying to prove with that fictional pic....
If killers have bugs with their power it shouldn’t take a genius to figure out that there’s probably a lot more work involved to fix them, for example the bugs with Nurse tend to be collision issues with objects on maps which will take a lot more time & resources to fix compared to a bugged perk.
I honestly hope this gets fixed soon. 5s stun was more like 3s anyway due to the time it takes to get off the killer’s shoulder. Now you barely gain any distance.

You got that backwards huntress has large hitboxes because the devs dont know how to make them work without breaking them. Windows are latency . If the killer has good connection and the survivor does too dedicated hits wont happen.
Yes you are right the devs care more about killers right now. Its evident with our two recently reqorked maps. Badham having an absurd amount of breakable walls, short loops lack of loops. Shacks size was also decreased. Then you have yamaoka having just deadzones.

As much as I hate to say it, the Devs really do jump whenever there's a survivor bug, mostly because that's where the significant majority of the playerbase lie. It's not an "us Vs them" thing, it's just a "we need to please the most people" thing.
I'm still waiting for sounds to work properly, basic attacks to not 180 you into a wall because half a pixel was in your attack cone, Nurse to work properly, phantom saws to go away, bubba to not collide with literally nothing, ranged attacks to have decent hitboxes, macro's to not borderline instabreak Slingers chain... There are so very, very many bugs that have not been addressed that really shouldn't take a whole lot of time.

No the easiest fix would be going back to p2p where we could see the killers ping and dodge bad lobbies. They had hits down 2 years ago. The killer actually had to hit you, it was pretty great.

They need to revert it back to the 5 second stun and any killer main knows that as well. The only fix that needed to happen with decisive strike was after a safe hook, when you start a new objective it deactivates as it was intended to be an anti tunneling perk. If you had time to start an objective or get healed then you weren't getting tunneled. I play killer mostly and honestly Ive enjoyed the stun being shortened but I feel like it's definitely taking the perk and ruining what its purpose is and, that is to get distance between you and a tunneling situation and give you a second chance.

Right now sure they care more but it only took them about 3 years to balance stuff around and even then they still help survivors more but before you say "but toolboxes got nerfed, but DS now is bad, we don't have very fair instaheals and we don't have infinites anymore" anything like that, remember that it was needed.
I haven't played the updated maps, just the ptb version before they were live and even then, from the killer pov, scratchmarks were barely visible because of the high grass, and badham..... I still want to say that it's a decent map now but I hate the breakable doors, that is just my preference.
As far as I know we still have the audio bug and desync audio.
I 100% agree with you on the p2p topic, that would fix more stuff than dedicated servers.
Not proving anything, but it is what happened, Myers was bugged for a very long time and they never fix it, instead they told some players "go play another game" meanwhile when DS got bugged they instantly jumped out to fix it asap, they have their priorities since 4 players pay more than 1 player.
And yes it would be more expensive BUT it would help the life of the game more, it's like if I want to play nurse I have to hope I don't go to midwich because she is unplayable there.
Basically I just want to say that they have helped killers but they will help more survivors.

The bug that can be instantly removed after performing anything? Like touching a gen/self caring/getting into a locker etc?

Ok so it was two years before the redemption ark. It was pathed 2.0 2018. Regardless of this fact you wre correct they took their sweet time before helping killers. While this is good they aren't giving survivors attention.
They fixed one bug for survivor quickly and now they care about survivors more despite the fact they have been getting nerfed for a good year +

The nerfs that you are talking about is what I mentioned earlier, unless there are other nerfs that I'm not aware.
Instaheals were busted against any m1 killer.
Toolbox needed nothing to do their job properly.
Infinites...... Yeah you had to leave them before especially with a 4.4 killer.
Sorry if I forgot other nerfs, again I really don't remember what else was nerfed if that was a thing.

Those are justified nerfs. But the point I'm makingnis they are just nerfing after nerfing after nerfing. They for one decreased the minimum pallet spawns for whatever reason that may be.
It just makes very little sense to keep nerfing survivors. Now we are at the point to where we are removing loops and adding unessecary unbreakable walls and a bandaid fix to infinites.

Currently I still have the same mentality as before, been playing this game for far too long, while there might be others that started earlier than me.
I believe the game currently it's as balanced as it should go, if we get more survivor nerfs that weren't called for, the game will probably suffer a lot.
That is also something that I wonder why, some maps are deadzones, azarov comes to mind, I got the whole middle area dead, no pallets at all just the one around the pump, 1 inside the gas station and the one by the gen.

Ik definitely happy the game is balanced as it is. I'm happy they are giving killers the bugs they need to compete. I'm not happy with the neglect to survivors.
While azarovs is not completely dead the pallet spacing, decrease in pallet amount has made the map mediocre and pretty killer sided. Azarovs resting place and gas heaven are what comes to my mind.
Those maps are so bad gas heaven having barely any filler spawns and zero jungle gyms on the outside. It just makes me think of 2017.
I get survivors can he op but people gotta realize if they continue to get nerfs which a lot of survivors put up with even the toxic ones the player base will take a hit.

So i was playing as freddy with enduring and the stun durations was pretty much cut in half but without enduring it was a longer stun. So i think its enduring
So i can 100% confirm enduring is affecting the ds stun

I may have misunderstood but what do you mean by "giving killers the bugs they need to compete".
I'm happy with called for nerfs not uncalled nerfs, hence why I hate most uncalled killer nerfs, especially billy, I don't care what people say "but I rarely overheat" yeah if you M1 as billy, I always use the chainsaw, I rarely use M1 as billy (small rant)
But yeah, the game is very balanced atm, I could suggest tweaks here and there to maps but I can't say anything about the current balance, I'm happy with it.

Oh I meant buffs not bugs my mistake.
I am as well the billy basekit nerf was just unneeded. I used to spam rev not fully but to make the chainsaw sound and a bit at the start of a pallet to bait the commit. It's way more punishing now.
I also go chainsaw only billy because it's fun and I dont go to m1 everyone. Skill Billy's were definitely and still are the most fun killers to verse to bad they are mostly extinct.
Current balance wise it's great. If this game didnt turn out like it did my survivor game would of never improved as it did and not as rapidly. I used to get carried by vacuum pallets.

The Spirit we played against didn't have Enduring. Just like the Huntress we faced a few games later. No enduring, still 2 second stun.

No worries lol I used to get carried by infinites, I was one of those "this killer player is so bad" yet all I did was vaulting the same window over and over again thinking it was skill to do that.
I wish people could be this civil when discussing, it would make life easier.
Anyways to the topic, the devs so far have been doing amazing work, I just want a few maps to not be deadzones, that is just sad like I main Oni and as you may know, the counter for him is either pre drop or go to a safe place, sadly there are barely any safe places now, pre dropping isn't a thing when the map has a big deadzone.

The devs are doing pretty good but man you are right the deadzones are insane. I myself am an oni main and when the survivors are kinda forced to lay and die it gets boring .

Exactly, hopefully we get a fix for deadzones soon, it makes the game unfun for me as a killer, like there is no skill involved in just holding W and M1 when in range.
That is the reason why I tend to be "rude" here on the forums, there are nice people and there are bad ones, you can tell most of the time who is who.

odd because so far without enduring the stun has been fine i will retry freddy without enduring maybe it is by certain killers. Im going to get a lot of salt trying this out lol

Just got screwed over by this from Freddy. He wasn't running enduring and he was stunned for less time than Head On, which I was also running.
