I played a killer match and the game froze at the start (Xbox one X). It was on the reworked badham.
Second match was on Osmond and the FPS dropped down especially in chases. I thought it couldnt get much worse than the nearly freeze when going into bloodlust, but it did.
As surv the FPS is ok, but the missing TR is also very frustrating.

Xbox player here (Xbox one X) and FPS is ok but I am finding the reworked badham map quite dark. Anyone else finding this?

Don't know if this have anything to do with the darkness of the map, but i noticed there's isn't any flickering lights on the map.

Maybe this is a xbox problem? The only map i had problems before was Lery's, but now it's actually playable.

I play on PS4 and the fps improved a lot. The terror radius isn't working tho ..

It might be to specific consoles, but the Switch is experiencing it as well. We all know about the hook situation, but specifically to my game play, the game skips when I attack and I end up missing even when right next to them. My ping is fine. Likewise, I played in the temple of purgation and could not see a single thing in the main building. Person was maybe about 8 meters ahead and I couldn't see them at all.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. Can't hook survivors, can't vault windows, sound being messed up. Found all of these since the update. Why is there a PTB, if they then put the update out with all these bugs?

I was wondering how the switch would run the new graphics and i think they lowered the resolution. Anyone noticed this?

On Xbox I'm starting to experience times where frequently - for about a second or so - Killer will suddenly slow down. As if moving through toffee, or driving in a car doing bunny hops. An odd analogy, but it's very disjointed. I've never experienced that prior to this dlc.

I know that freddy on certain maps is having this effect because it's so dark you cant see anything when you're asleep on sanctum of wrath

Really? My games have been fantastic from an fps standpoint and i haven't had any stutters. Wonder what could be causing it.

If you know any better, you should enlist into BHVR as a developer and help them fix things faster and make things better.

Is that person a coder or someone that bought this game with expectations that it wouldn’t be broken every three months? If gaslighting is all you have ok, but don’t take a legitimate complaint about this busted game and try to make it go away with nonsense about going and working for behavior.

How come you, the poster and a chunk of other people think this game is broken, but myself and.. let me say "the majority" thinks otherwise? I'm having mad fun right now, but I do acknowledge the FPS drops.
I think the OP overexaggerated, saying that "every update screws this game over"
People thought the Pyramid Head update was bad, yet look at those people now, enjoying the Killer and everything else.

What has that got to do with anything? The fact is we all paid full retail price, or sale price, for a game, then all the DLC, and maybe cosmetics. So we kinda expect a game to work, especially after 4 years. Your argument is null. It's like someone buys a fridge/freezer from a shop, gets home and only the freezer section works. I guess I'm an engineer or something because I clearly know the fridge section should work and it doesn't. Why defend BHVR when the game is nothing but a bug fest every 3 months, and we get no fixes until the next DLC release, which in turn adds more bugs. We have a PTB that seems just to be for show and hype because anything reported as an issue there clearly just gets slammed into the live game.

Again, trying to change the op topic to fit your narrative does nothing. The OP didn’t say 1 thing about balance. The OP is talking about (as are many many others in the forums) how broken the game is since the update. IE busted terror radius, busted animations, some pc users can’t even start the game, frame rates on consoles and pc, ds busted, players getting trapped doing bones, to name a few.
actually reading the topic and responding to what is written would do you a world of good.

They're saying that because every update breaks the game in some way. For example, Silent Hill broke the FPS and introduced a completely broken map (going through the world, getting stuck in hallways, etc.) because it seems the developers have a crappy QA (Quality Assurance) system.
Almost every update as of this year, let alone since 2016, has fixed something yet broke a TON of major things just because they weren't tested before release (Or they have a bad testing system). If they TESTED the update on console before they released it, they could've averted the FPS issues or at least addressed them without a month of silence about it.

Played 6 killer games yesterday (ps4).
In 3 games I lost a hook because of the hook bug.
In 1 game I got glitched trying to grab Dwight out of a locker. I was just stuck there for most of the match. Finally after all the gens were done I was able to unbug myself and the survivors were nice enough to farm.
But really a pretty poor gaming experience right now. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Guess I need to open my eyes a bit. Still, it doesn't change the fact that I'm not experiencing any issues, apart from the FPS drops.

Yeah, I haven't noticed too many issues either. I did make a thread about the FPS going down the drain, but it was created before I was able to get into the game and test it out myself (It wasn't an issue). However, just because I don't experience it myself doesn't mean it's not my issue, as without other players there wouldn't be any game to play.

Oddly enough my friends and I were complaining about how bright the reworked maps seem. The fps has been hit or miss, seems like the old days where any little thing (sloppy triggering, using dead hard, bloodlust) causes a frame drop/stutter. In between all that it seems to run fine though.

My apologies. Knowing this forum, I thought this was another one of those "let's complain about BHVR for no reason" threads, as the people here on this forum like to make a lot of those. If so many people are experiencing bugs and issues, then the only thing we can do is hope the people at BHVR actually listen and fix them. But I hope people take in consideration that coding takes time. I know that's not a valid excuse and many people have been using it, but it's just the truth. There are some games out there that started development in 2010 and only came to the spotlight in 2017-2018.

I see many say there frame rate improved. I don't get it mine got worse on a ps4 pro and my son on his ps4 slim, i also have this on xbox x and it all is worse. It has progressively got worse with the last several updates.
Would anyone who says it is better mine posting a 5 minute clip playing as killer and using their power and getting bloodlust new maps and indoor maps.
Survivor on indoor or the new maps when the killer has bloodlust, thantaphobia, sloppy, cloaks/uncloaks near you, use dead hard, Michael gets tier 3, killer uses their power near you, Hag trap set off.
It is so weird many of us complain it got worse while others say it improved.

Its just unfun if the game punishes me for playing it.
The only reliable thing in dbd is the bugs and glitches after every update.

Oh just read this comment and yea, sry for the salt, but its really annoying. I just want to play the game and dont want to be a bug tester after every update, thats all.
I already saw a "solution" for my problem in the forum news. Seems like the Xbox one x is facing this problem if i am playing on a 4k tv.
Exactly the worries i had before it released came true. So they say to let the game run properly after the graphic update i just have to lower my resolution. How funny.
