Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Is this update an undercover nerf for survivors?

Am I the only one who feels weird the movement of the survivor and the camera now? I'm pretty sure the camera is closer to the survivor as well, limiting more the view.

The 2 new breakable walls on the school of springwood don't have sense. The killer is not going to destroy this walls never. This change is only bad for the survivor and for the map. The walls should create new situations in the gameplay. They should not be there to close ways that will never open.

Also, the medkit now is more visible, that's a nerf too.

Did you noticed something more?

Regarding the Camera: Not noticed. Do you play female Characters normally and are now playing Felix since he is out? Because that guy is huge, might trick you believing that the camera is closer.

    Regarding Breakable Walls:

"The walls should create new situations in the gameplay."<--they actually do, because now the Killer has to think if they want to break them or not. The wall can open a Loop, but can also help to get to Survivors or Hooks faster when broken.

It is more of a choice and not something which is "I HAVE to break it to play the game" or "when I break it, it is easier".

Camera is the same. Compare your game to youtube videos of gameplay over the years.

As far as the breakable walls are concerned - they are there to shut down the "killer saw me, better go hump the building instead of learning how to be a skilled looper!" (can't wait for this to come to Disturbed Ward); and not ever wanting to break them isn't entirely true. There's plenty of situations where the killer might want to break them instead of going around. To stop a gen from being done, for one. Or to get a basement hook (in the event that they wouldn't make it going around).

Medkits may be more visible, but the graphically reworked maps offset this by being FAR easier to hide in.

All I noticed was the Gens being faster but it might just be a placebo effect from there being a new animation. Nothing with the camera, and those breakable walls aren't new if you're talking about the ones that cuts off the pre school, they were added in the last update to the map that added breakable walls. The tradeoff is if you go down in the basement and the actual basement isnt there theres no way the killer is going to be able to get you to a hook if those walls aren't broken. Surprise you would complain about that and not the ultra long wall that comboed with the car pallet that used to be my favorite spot as survivor because you could run it all day lol.

Also the medkits are brighter but considering the map reworks are like 10x darker with taller grass I don't think it matters. If anything its a buff to survivors because maybe it will encourage blendettes to actually do something. Jk we all know blendettes will still run self care and do it in a corner for 10 minutes while the killer has sloppy and thanta lol
