Previous Tomes - Compendium and Colletion

I'm fairly new to DbD and I've enjoyed completing the various Tome 4 challenges to read the back story and watch the videos around the DbD characters/lore - that you read/watch on the COLLECTION tab.

Because of this, I'm happy to see that I am able to complete the challenges for Tomes 1 - 3. However, when I select a challenge in an older tome, the "collection" (back stories) stays that of Tome 4. Is there no way other than watching spoilers on the internet to read the collection of the older tomes?

    Yes, and when I do, then I pick Tome 1, the Collection that displays is only for Tome 4 (the current Tome, not Tome 1, the one I picked)

    I think it’s bugged. Just tried it myself with all three past Tomes and I only got the Collection for Tome 4.

    Weird. When you click that there should be three books showing. You click one of those to get into the old challenges, and the little 4 diamonds above the level completion rewards to select your stage. I tried it out and mine works, but I have already completed the tome. I don't think it's intended to lock newbies out. That wouldn't make sense and that's a treasure trove of easy bloodpoints.

    Hmmmmmm.

    I think you're missing the issue. The issue isn't that I can't access the older challengers (Tomes), I can. the issue is that when I do select an older Tome (1, 2, or 3), I don't get the COLLECTION for that Tome (the stories you unlock). When I pick Tomes 1, 2 or 3, I see the challenges, but when I click the COLLECTION tab, the stories for Tome 4 display.

    Yeah it looks like I misunderstood. My bad, wouldn't be the first time I was a derp.

    I'm doing my Maplestory dailies right now so gimme like an hour and I'll log in again and try to figure it out.

    Now you should be on this screen. Mine sticks me on level 4 because Dbd. Click the book icon under the rift icon on the left. It's called collection.

    The top story says Alchemist on Tome 1 so maybe that's what's throwing you off, but as you can see here by following these steps I can access old stories. Hope this solves the mystery!

    I've noticed that the lore stays on whichever tome you first open the lore on, but after a restart I can go to the compendium and select another tome and see the lore for it. After that though I am stuck on that lore until another restart

    Now that I'm logged in I think I have to beat those last two survivor challenges. Time to get the cutely dressed nuggets killed a bunch.
