PSA: Unable To Hook Bug Solution
Quick psa about how to still hook survivors until bug is fixed drop them in front of hook then hook them fixes it everytime it looks like
For now go for closer hooks to be safe don’t want to go too far and the drop lets them go instead

Yeah but if a survivor is at 75% wiggle and you drop they get out of your grasp

Yeah that’s why I said pick the closest hook to be safe so no risky basement plays for the time being sadly

Just face the hook forwards before pressing hook button... It won't bug

I’ve tried that it bugs less but can still bug out but always best to go for that then if it fails do the drop then hook

I go 1 step back and then go forward and press the button.. Works every time

Stepping back and recentering doesn't work every time lol

Attacking also helps solve the bug 9/10 times

I played a game yesterday and found that if you hold down the button instead of tapping it seems to work every time for me.
I tested this in a couple games myself and everytime it would start to glitch out i would back up then go back up and just hold down the button

I’ve found that looking up before hooking helps avoid this bug too
