Balancing question
I'm new, and certain this has already been brought up, but I have a few issues that I would like to hear about.
- Why is the player punished for being the last alive? If never hooked, player is not afforded any attempt to hook escape, or allowed to fight for 800+ struggle points.
- Why does the killer not have a weight/speed penalty for carrying survivors? God knows there are enough hooks.
- Why is there no fall penalty for killers? This is exploited in nearly every game with killers shortcut dropping into basements instead of walking down stairs.
Again, I apologize if this has already been addressed.

1. To get on with the game. You miss out 800BP for getting to your next match faster, not a bad deal.
2. Already exists, there are perks that counter it.
3. Avoid getting downed near the basement at all costs, its your fault if you end up in there and get #########.0 -

1.) This is done for time reasons. The survivor could easily just sit on the hook and waste time to spite the killer.
2.) There is a speed penalty. The only time there isn't is when the killer is using Agitation.
3.) This is done for balance reasons. Killers have their advantages (faster base-movement speed for most, no stun from falling, varying powers) and survivors have theirs (vaulting faster, numbers, little to no stun time for doing things compared to killers).Hope this clears some stuff up.

2. Because they suffer from wiggling stagger of the survivor. Being staggered and moving slower hardly feels rewarding after successfully catching your prey. Also body blocking.
3. You can’t exploit an intended mechanic.0 -
2: you never played a killer carrying a wiggling survivor, have you?
And i think there are perks to intensify the wiggling.
Suddenly lurching a direction, maybe slamming into a tree, or wall, it will slow you down.0 -
thanks for the quick responses, I have missed a pip by 500 points before when last person hooked. I feel it is a valid point to "not waste peoples time" but why not give a person the maximum amount of struggle points as a compensation for getting 3rd hook treatment after only 1 hook.

- Because it would be a waste of time. The killer has nothing else to than just wait for your unhook attempts and insta downs you, so why bother?
- Because the carry speed already differs from the regular sped. Just check the wiki.
- Because killer are meant to be faster than survivor. How should they ever catch anybody if they would not?

1 short answer is its balanced . the last survivor has a immediate death if they get caught , but at the same time they also get the opportunity to escape through the hatch which does give a bonus in itself . So it comes down to who gets what first , hooked or hatched .
2 as said before they do . wiggle wiggle wiggle ya , the more you do the harder it is for them to move in a direct path .
3 killers and survivors function completely different , where a killer doesn't take a "hit" for dropping into stairs the survivors don't get slowed down for vaulting through a window . If they made it to where every killer had the same downsides as survivors and none of the upsides who would play a killer ? if they made it to where a killer took a hit for dropping but could fast vault how would a survivor like that ? its all in the balancing .

1.Even if you get off the hook, it's pointless - the killer will just smack you down on the spot and put you back on the very same hook.
2 Killers have reduced speed while carrying survivors, it ca be affected by agitation perk, iron grasp counters wiggling/boil over.
3 There is no fall penalty for killers. It's a game mechanic. Balanced landing perk will decrease that stagger and give you 150% movement speed for 3 seconds, unless you are exhausted. So avoid jumping from heights if the killer is next to you unless you have bl or no other choice. They can hit you in mid-air as well0
