is Undying+Ruin better than Pop+Sloppy?

Right now i'm running Pop & Sloppy on nearly every killer, i tried out Ruin instead of Pop but it is very unreliable. Sloppy gave me good results so far, it's not that noticeable at first but the seconds add up. I was playing against a streamer recently and in the recorded video he was upset about Sloppy because it makes healing so annoyingly slow. I think you need 2 stalling perks in the current meta.

Now everyone is talking about the Undying+Ruin combo, i'm currently levelling Blight to get Undying. Do you think it's a better stalling combo? Ruin is theoretically stronger than Pop, i hate kicking gens, you just have to chase them off gens and it does it's work. Right now my focus was a little bit more on chases because i need the hooks for Pop, with Ruin i could focus more on gen pressure.

What do you think?

Best combos to be running gen wise are Thrilling/BBQ Pop and Dragons Grip or Surveillance/Tinkerer/BBQ Ruin and Undying

You could run Sloppy and Thana but too much counters them nowadays so they don’t work that well

As far as a combination of the two? Yes. There’s better synergy with Undying+Ruin, but it really depends on what killer you are. If you can’t get to gens fast enough as a killer, maybe use Pop+Sloppy, although you’re slowing down two different aspects of the game.

That's a lot of gen information, which is nice, but it doesn't help you in the midst of a chase. If you want to keep sloppy butcher then I would recommend the rest be BBQ, Ruin, and Undying, or you could try Sloppy Butcher, BBQ, Pop and brutal strength/endearing.

Yeah that’s why my last perk on Blight is Brutal Strength let’s me end chases fast and pressure the gens to the point 60% atleast of my games have been ending in 5 gens left 10-12 hooks

Dragons Grip sounds great in theory but i never got it to work. It triggered only once in every match where i tried it, and then i couldnt find the survivor because they go blendette of course, until they're not exposed anymore :(

See that’s all people think about is the exposed while yes that’s the best thing that can happen cuz with it comes another down and an extra 25%on that gen, but even if they don’t touch the gen either cuz they know you have the perk or not that’s an extra 10% gone within the 30 seconds and I’ve noticed almost nobody knows how to track the time as survivor so they are just infinitely scared of the perk 😂

Way better. Without corrupt on mothers dweling for example they’re still getting 2 gens early even with ruin.

With corrupt you can pressure the 4 gens, and by the time corrupt ends you have some pressure over the survivors that ruin can take effect

My favorite perk, endearing, survivors like you too much to drop the pallet on you at full strength

My initial impression is that Undying/Ruin is far better. Pop gets you 25% regression on a single gen. Ruin causes it to regress at double the usual rate without you having to kick it. With Undying to bolster it, I've found that Ruin stays up all game about 90% of the time.

Both perks require you to create pressure and push survivors off of gens, but Ruin can take a gen from 99% to 0 in less than 3 minutes without you even having to touch it. That's 4 Pops, which is a massive value. That said, I literally just had a match where the survivors cleansed all 3 dull totems and then Ruin, leaving me with nothing but Undying. That has to be a crazy fluke though, right?

I've only been using Undying/Ruin on Blight so far, because I'm trying to triple prestige him. I'm sure that combo will be more valuable for killers with high mobility, but Pop is the same way.

Sloppy Butcher is one of my favorite slowdown perks too, but I don't see how it has synergy with Pop.

It just feels great when they cleanse your hex 4 times to get rid of it but sometimes they get undying first.

Thanks for the input. No it doesn't have synergy but it's the only helpful slowdown perk i could find, which is useable together with Pop, since most gen slowdown perks don't synergize. But i will try Undying+Ruin as soon as i have it :)
