Seriously. Can't just take my word for it?
We tried for over 30 minutes. Every time I got Haunted it just went away like Undying wasn't even there.

All I can say is that the video posted shows it works, and at least one dev has come on here speaking as though it does indeed work. It doesn't matter how many posts someone has or how long they have been here; that doesn't trump video evidence and dev input. If you post a video demonstrating that it does not work, then we can show that there is an inconsistency between how it functions on Xbox and how it functions on other platforms.

Listen, if @thesuicidefox says it doesn't work on Xbox, I believe them. There's no reason for them to lie, they're not a cult leader trying to deceive the cultists or a pathological liar.
With that said, a video would be useful to get the devs' attention since we - and they - already know it works on PC.

Yea I shoulda recorded something but I didn't I was survivor so you wouldn't even see it. I'd have to do it again as killer and doing KYF is a pain in the ass.

I don't believe they are lying; I believe they were mistaken in what they saw.
Anyways, I just had my friend on Xbox test it out, and cleansing Haunted Grounds with Hex: Undying in play does refresh Haunted Grounds.

Tested it in private match with RNG on your side you can have 3 haunted grounds

??? I only saw a single totem fully cleansed (Haunted Grounds) followed by Plague looking at a random dull totem and then doing some other stuff.
Here's a clip taken by my friend on Xbox. It starts right after the first Haunted Grounds was cleansed (I know this because I saw it live), and you can see them cleanse another Haunted Grounds two totems later (the first one cleansed in the clip is Undying).

I tried it out. Undying, Ruin, Haunted Grounds.
Undying went first, then Ruin, Haunted Grounds left untouched.
Feels bad man. What are the odds? I swear they programmed the first totem cleansed to have a 90% chance of being Undying.

What else were they supposed to show? Unless I’m blind, I didn’t see their HG transfer to other totems.

All the remaining totems? I saw at least one that looked like it was still lit.

So Fox and i tested this and when haunted is cleansed it doesnt transfer to new dull totems. It just works once.
we did this 5 times btw to be sure it wasnt a one off. Its GOTTA be a bug for console although I havent seen a full video of it actually working on any platform.

My friend straight-up tested it on Xbox (see the link I posted), and it worked as intended.

Survivor does totem.
Totem is Haunted.
I hit survivor to show they are Exposed.
Waste 60 seconds.
Look around only 1 lit totem, Undying.
No other lit totems. We checked (you don't see in the clip too us a few minutes to find them all).
Doesn't work.

With luck you can "only" get 3 HG since you need two dulls totems to make activate it ^^
Also we tested it with Michi, it seems to be bugged on some killers, so that even if Undying is still up Haunted Grounds does not come back and it even remove the ability to see hex ttems aura.

Haunted ground is still a legit good perk combo with hex ruin. Have undying, ruin, haunted ground together and itll be an even better time. Never tried the three together but played against a killer with these three and I know they had a blast and got a 4k too.

Second game. His Haunted doesn't respawn. He even specifically says they didn't do dulls because he was looking for auras with Undying.
I think what you guys experienced was a bug and it was shadow fixed in the most recent update.

I love Undying. It opens up so, so many more builds that previously relied entirely on getting good luck.
Now it's still a little RNG, but far more rewarding.

10 days is not a necro. It's still relevant to the discussion. Tofu's Haunted didn't respawn.
So if they have videos of it respawning and we have videos of it not respawning WTAF is going on?
