Lowest Priority Status, DC-Types

I realize that sometimes the internet goes down or real life emergencies come up. That happens to everyone. However, there is a clear pattern of people who disconnect to avoid something they don't like, rage, quit and so on. These people are being selfish and showing an extreme lack of courtesy to their fellow players. The various penalties so far have proved problematic. I'm going to suggest a new solution. Give anyone who has disconnected the lowest possible priority for getting into a new match, i.e. last in line. If said person is part of group, the ENTIRE group goes to the back of the line. That will encourage them to correct the behavior of their friend. What this means is that disconnecting from a game means that said person(s) must wait until literally every single person waiting in Que before them is placed before they get consideration. And to be honest, I'd tack on five minutes on top of that. My view is simple, make disconnecting just inconvenient enough a wait in every game, that it discourages it for the future. Bans have been a problem. This is not a ban. This is a the longest line at Disneyland.

Neat idea, and not excssive imo. I really hope they do something about it, it´s basically a 3v1 almost every match bc the first guy to get downed DCs so often it´s not funny anymore. I don´t want farm games every other match :(

The long queue time would be a better deterrant than the current timer, though people could still ready up and just chill with the internet until they get a lobby, which runs the risk of players being AFK, which is just as useless to the other players.

My suggestion would be to force the DCing player to play the next round without any perks or items, perhaps hit them with a status effect too (blindness or exhaustion maybe). Until there is a meaningful penalty, the DCing will sadly continue. I hope a solution comes quickly.

How about just pairing them with each other? If they don't want to play, they can all not play together.

I rather like this idea to be honest, i.e. there is a Que for the DC types, i.e. anyone who DCs more 3+ times within a specific period. They are relegated to that Que of people for a day the first time. If it happens again, a week in that que, and if it happens again a month. HOPEFULLY we do not have enough of these people to fill out an entire darn que (which while I like this idea I suspect it isn't logistically possible), but if we do have a lot of them, this is a GREAT idea. They can see how it feels to be in a que full of people who don't care anymore about anyone else than they do themselves.
