Does anyone know why Blight has 6 fingers on his hands???And why is he standing,walking vary wierdly?

The dude mutated himself with scientifically accurrate magical potions. That answers pretty much everything. It's a fun little tool that writers use to get away with things because otherwise the world would be boring.

Yeah I know he used entitys crack but why did it cause to grow 6th finger??
Did he injure them,need one more to hold his cane or something.
Its like a mutation but its not clear why.
