4.2.1 Hotfix bug still persists
the new hotfix was supposed to fix multiple bugs, one being the heartbeat bug. me and a buddy of mine were playing against a clown. we were on a generator and out of nowhere he gets grabbed off and as he's getting grabbed neither of us still have no heartbeat. after he gets hooked i finally hear a terror radius. i got hit once and immediately lost a heartbeat (no i was not blind/oblivious/hindered yet. little did i know he was right on me. this NEEDS to get fixed. this is the 4th game today it has happened. 1 clown, w huntresses and a trapper. and yes i'm good at the game so don't tell me i'm just not skilled, there's a reason it's called a heartbeat and terror radius. but when you're not allowed to hear one, that's near impossible.

Are you sure there wasn't a Tinkerer/Dark Devotion/other undetectable perk in play?

Was Huntress' lullaby affected at all, or just her heartbeat?

if you and your buddy were on a gen together then 30 seconds is plenty of time to get that gen to 70%, at which point tinkerer would kick in and make him undetectable. based on his TR kicking in after the hook I'm guessing that you got bamboozled by tinkerer.
Ever since this perk was buffed it's become more and more prominent in killer builds, especially when paired with undying and ruin
