Challenges ruin the game
Alright, new tome released today amd guess what...first survivor challenge is benevolent emblem of iridescent quality...how cute, so survivors are disconnecting during ba match when they know they can't earn this benevolent emblem cause the team is messing things up.
So yeah...whoever has all rewards or just doesn't care about this Tome must bare this behavior of other survivors for another...dunno week or 2 when most of survivors will be done with challenges.
I don't know how about you guys but this really bothers me eaxh time a new tome part releases, everyone focuses on challenges and not the trial itself.

I think the challenges are fun. It makes me try things otherwise I wouldn't (like being more stealthy or aggro than usual).
But some challenges maybe are not that fun to the other side (like the one I needed to stun the killer 3 times... that was a head on hunt for me, because everyone seems to respect pallets).

Can't hear you, have to hook 4 people in the basement in one trial.

I mean yeah, some challenges are fun, but some just are not. Stunning the killer 3 times can be tricky but I always equip head on (1 stun) and then I just sacrifice my two fully healed states when standing under a pallet, taking a hit and then stunning the killer. Works every time

Also a good one π. But did this with a traper before amd used some perks which increased my carrying speed and the one lowerinf struggling efects.
This benevolent one though? Gosh I played already 7 games, 4 games survivors just gave up, in others I managed to get just Gold benevolent π€·π»ββ.

I think the fact WE dont control our own challenges is so stupid. So now I am forced to play super altruistic and hope I don't get paired with morons who screw out emblems up.

Some can be dumb design but for the most part Iβm glad they added challenges itβs like a bandaid fix for the awful grind in the game

But some challenges I can just play the match normally and still get the challenge done

I wish they had made the "kill all survivors by any means" challenge more clear.
Turns out it just means "sacrifice all four survivors to the entity"
There was no need for me to use iri-belt and ivory on huntress to get those challenges.

Just to let you know, unless it was changed, DCs do count towards that challenge, if they have been hooked before.

The second survivor challenge is even worse. Now everyone is trying to survive as Meg and so far I have versed ebony mori Wraith, Iri head Huntress, Bamboozle+Pop Freddy and Insidious camper Deathslinger. It's been fun.
