DS/Unbreakable Change Idea
So we all know how strong DS/Unbreakabble is when survivors abuse it. I personally play both sides (mainly survivor) and understand how frustrating it is on killer when survivors abuse it so I don't use them together. I thought ab some solutions that can make the game more healthy for both sides.
DS CHANGE - I was thinking how annoying DS is when a survivor is literally doing a gen in your face or they hop in a locker and you can't do anything. Even sometimes you unintentionally "tunnel" someone but you get DSed. So what about changing DS to where when you either heal, work on a gen, sabo, or even try and cleanse a hex totem you lose DS. Another idea and this can stack with the other change, is DS timer is 20/25/30 seconds instead of 40/50/60 seconds BUT the timer stops when you are getting chased. This way if a killer is ACTUALLY tunneling survivors don't have to force a DS stun within the minute they get tunneled and the tunneling killer gets punished but not too punished. There are some games where the killer throws the game to tunnel me, but with these changes when the killer downs the surv its 30 seconds of waiting instead of 60 AND the survivor has the anti-tunnel perk for the ACTUAL tunneling killers
UNBREAKABLE CHANGE - This perk is not TOO big of an issue unless it's stacked. Now I have no idea how to balance 4 mans stacking it and other controversial topics. But what if they made a change where if you use unbreakable, all perks with timers (excluding pure broken perks like deliverance) get canceled, such as DS. The perk combo DS UNBREAKABLE is a ridiculous perk combo because it buys your team time by basically invincible and being able to play super aggressive with no consequence. So if you get downed you use either or, not both. With these changes 4 man DS Unbreakable squads will be more deal-able because if I'm being honest, most 4 mans running ds unbreakable aren't that good, but these perks alone buy their team too much time.
If not any of these chances then make killer have the ability to open lockers and throw survivors on the ground this way locker DS is less aids.

I like the ideas but that'll never happen. That one perk is the most relied upon perk in the survivor's arsenal. Even these devs know if they give it the ruin treatment, a ton of their customers will stop playing the game.
I have another idea. Lets tie all 4 DS's to an object that is placed in a blatantly obvious area on the map. Should the kill smash it, everyone loses that perk for the entire match :P

I think that the ds change is good, but the unbreakable one could just be a change to ds so that you cant recover past 50% with it active.

Or how about just simply go for someone else? Why is your concern the survivor on the gen who you well know was recently unhooked. No one is forcing you to chase this survivor. Go for someone else? Yes?

If you are going to make any changes, just make it so that any active ds is nullified by hooking a new survivor.

Are you asking why killers want to attack survivors doing gens? Its cause killers win by stopping gen progress...

If you're having difficulties understanding my post, let me help you out:
"Or how about just simply go for someone else? Why is your concern the survivor on the gen who you well know was recently unhooked. No one is forcing you to chase this survivor."
Meaning, THIS survivor is not the only one on the field, why are you next to this survivor? Why aren't you going for someone else? Why are you purposefully chasing this survivor who you know was just recently unhooked AND there's an obsession in play. Why THIS survivor? Why not anyone else? There are 4 survivor in the game, did you not know that?
So no, it's not about halting gen progress, it's about patrolling other gens, or chasing someone else. Why are you re-chasing the survivor who was just recently unhooked.
Was the survivor recently unhooked? Yes. Is there an obsession in the game? Yes. Is the survivor baiting you? Yes. Did the survivor DS you?
If you've answered yes to these questions, then the fault likes on the killer and his choices and playstyle.
Change it and stop complaining about survivors ability to stun you for 5 second, they didn't force you to chase them again, and they sure didn't force you to open that locker. You have control of your mouse and keyboard and/or controller, not them.
TLDR; you're not the victim, go for someone else. No one forces you to re-chase the survivor who was recently unhooked.

Oof, well thanks for that emotional and lengthy response I guess.
I guess I'll stop being a victim posing question asking fella now.
