Guys tell me does the PTB version of Sole survivor counters BBQ ? in some way ? what happens when 1 survivor is dead and killer hooks another survivor and Im 40 meters away..can killer see me ? or do I have to be 68m away for the killer to see me...I mean why cant they just make this perk to counter BBQ indirectly or directly..and the first token aura reading range should be reduce by 28m in order to counter nurses calling...What do you guys think?

    First
    As more of your friends fall to the Killer, you become shrouded in isolation and the Killer's Aura-reading abilities towards you are disrupted.

    Your Aura cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 20/24/28 metres for each killed or sacrificed Survivor.
    (ptb version)
    So yes 1 token does counter Nurse's.
    And BBQ is countered if you have 2 tokens... slightly. You can extra 16 meters from the range of bbq

    It countered bbq since the change went to meters

    it counters those perks now as it grows, ptb made it show you when it blocks a perk but it blocks bbq now

    It gets stronger as more people die, that's the answer. Not supposed to be super strong with 1 death. And that adds range and is weird. You gotta be 40+ meters to get ready by bbq, you have options. You'll be fine, bbq has answers and checks.

    Okay so is the center of the BBQ & Chilli the min. range (the hook) or the max range (40m)? The range from 0-40m is aura reading but think of it being supressed for the 40 meters.

    And you have 2 options to counter BBQ:
    -Stand behind a gen
    -get into 40m radius

    This perk is still weak though not useful...It would be useful if it counter bbq a little easier that way against killers like nurse and billy even spirit who have high mobility it will be better to use

    The true problem with this perk is that there isn't enough Aura reads for killers (or good enough perks for killers to use) to counter it with death of your fellow survivors.

    Oh well, against three killers lol. I see what you mean but it is good where it is.

    He has infinite aura reading. I haven't played against anyone who uses Sole Survivor while playing as Freddy so I'm a bit curious about how it works.

    Guess you arent aware of the sole survivor change. It's by percent but by meters. Sole survivor could always counter freddy. Sole survivor has been reworked earlier to nullify aura reading up to x meters, not by percent anymore. So if you are within x  meters you cannot be read by freddy. The wording of the perk is self explanatory, but some people aren't familiar with the rework wording.

    Iirc the new PTB version works with multiples of 24, so at 1 token it doesn't have an effect since the minimum BBQ range is 40, at 2 tokens its range is 48m so you have 8 bonus meters to not be spotted. The 3rd token is obtained only after BBQ activated, so the 3rd token does nothing against BBQ.
    Essentially if you thought of using SS to counter BBQ, you shouldn't use it because it's not worth it.

    Here's an idea learn to count to 4 and go the other way here let me help u 1.....2.....3.......4 oh look how easy that was but for real lots not hard to counter BBQ git gud

    are you stupid? how is that a counter against Billy or a nurse with range addons? they travel too fast you know
