EasyAntiCheat (EAC) sucking hard apparently.

So yea, this is gonna be long rant about how Devs do not give a single F about how game is going and are turning into EA in terms of greed. Constant bugs? Meeeh. Frequent cheaters? Pfff. 90% of perks unused because they are out of meta? Who cares. WE'RE GONNA RELEASE NEW SKIN/CHAPTER SOON THO BOIS, GIB ME YOUR MONIES.

But to the point. I uploaded vid of killer cheating (Actually had 4 of them in total, from different matches of same guy, but I'm not wasting any more time on blurring every name in every single frame.). Got warned before original posting about names not being blurred. Because laws are made for criminals, not victims XD Keep protecting such people, let's see how it goes.

Teleporting(other video tho), ranged attacks as GF, 1-shotting people without exposed status, AoE attacks as GF. From what you can see on chat after match this guy is so bold in his cheating. And he goes like this for few months already from what he says. He knows Devs can't do anything, worst case scenario for him is he'll pay few bucks for another copy of game. I've sent that vid with ticket report in case ya wondered. "We are currently looking into your issue and we will get back to you as soon as possible." yea right. Same as they did with other report I sent some 2weeks+ ago. No feedback so far.

So yea again, technically why should they care, they have guy who will be buying their product over and over if he gets banned, easy money. Same as releasing new chapters or skins instead of fixing bugs, working on balance, reworking unplayable perks and so. "You can spit all you want at us as long as you keep buying our stuff".

The proccess of reporting is BS too, "uh, we don't have any way of checking proof and banning other than chat-log, so if you want us to do something, waste your free time to make a vid, then gather ton of steam informations about you and reported one to send us a ticket we will or will not eventually check".

I don't feel like ranting anymore, all you need to hear/see is on vid. Just Devs, get your s...t straight, there is already a lot of posts from players claiming they're qutting, be it because of bugs, toxicity or in that case cheating. Maybe people don't need more content just fixed old one, wild thought isn't it?

P.S.

If someone wants to see rest of videos, write me PM or something. I doubt I can put rest of them on channel on public setting without this post getting down.

And for the TL:DW guys, cheating starts from 1:45.

why I am not lucky to find that funny hackers in matches to break the monotony?

I prefer these hackers that respawn dozens of dummy Kates or Dwights as human shields so you cannot even move as killer lol

I am waiting for people who talk it's rarely happen, and you should do report by yourself. Yeah, waits until the game full of hackers and dying.

Okay about your point on the naming/shaming rule; this isn't the right place to report someone so you just posting footage of them, when other people can have that same name and receive unfair harassment, under the name of a report even though this isn't the place to report then you deserve the warning for breaking that rule. For example Orion is a very popular name; @Orion on the forums shouldn't receive harassment because you faced a hacker called Orion that isn't them.

Do it through the proper channels if you want action to be taken. I hate EAC more than the average person but at least report people properly if you want them banned. @BigBrainMegMain is proof that the system works.

Every time I try to report a hacker I get an email, stating they won´t do anything if no video proof is provided. I don´t stream or record gameplay so I´m always shoot outta luck if I encounter a hacker.

I wish it was easier to detect hacks, or to report them, their system obviously fails miserably at it.

As I said, I've sent ticket with full explanation and video proof. Some time earlier too, to both I've only received mail as below:

    "Hello ,

We are currently looking into your issue and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thank you for your patience!

    BEhaviour"

Also considering chat and what mr haxor said he has been reported repeatedly, without any punishment, so it's hard for me to believe the system works. Plus as I said earlier, none feedback in terms of what action were taken in cases reported by me. Ok, I'm taking on me this most recent one, as it was sent few days ago, but there was another one sent much earlier, to which i didn't get any info either.

Yeah it’s a problem. All you can do is go through the proper channels. Publicly posting people’s names isn’t that. I don’t know what you’re hoping to get posting this.

Give devs some insight on what could be improved? But I doubt they'll spend time on improving antycheat system or other things I mentioned, as it won't bring new revenue. So yea, meaning that I think it's mostly just a venting rant.

No, I get the rant. I’m just saying you can’t really do much. You’re right, they probably won’t fix anything, they’ll just put out Thanksgiving cosmetics instead.

If you really want to submit information on a player that has really wronged you, you MUST fill the ticket on this website. Every single ticket I've posted has received confirmation, and after that I've received messages from In-Game Moderators that they're looking into the issue and have thanked me for the contribution. People on YouTube have told me I've gotten them banned, which is good. I never report anyone innocent, but you must take the steps to do so.

I've uploaded a picture of the replies I've received from BHVR themselves and I've received many more after this one.

It works, it just takes time.

You're gonna believe a hacker telling you not to report him? Seriously? That's like believing a thief when he tells you not to go to the cops.

Isn't the point of this thread that EAC does literally nothing but keep honest people honest?

The game needs an anti cheat that actually gets updates to fight cheaters. Not have the community be the anti cheat and go out of their way to record, upload and get the steam id for every single instance.

Recording can't prove they are using wall hacks or giving themselves a small boost every time they round a corner. It only shows the blatant or "rage" cheaters who literally don't care if they are caught.

Guys for Christs sake read closely before commenting. No where in my comment have I said I trusted him to not report him, I've even said earlier that I sent a ticket report with everything and what email I received from BHvr. What I said was that EAC sucks, and that I don't know whether my reports are worth anything considering lack of feedback other than "we'll look into that".

Given that I've come across the same people way post-report, yes. It doesn't stop me wasting my own precious free time, but that doesn't mean that the brick wall I seem to be beating my head against is going to crumble any time soon.

Not that I think it's a fault of the Devs, not entirely. DBD is more popular than ever, and that means more reports than ever.
