Just a quick discussion on wheather or not people use Wired or WiFi?
I personally used wired for stable connection myself!
If you feel like it, just give a reason!
Please dont hate on others! Thanks!

Wired. I hate Wi-Fi when playing games.
I'm using a 60 foot cord to make this happen. lol

Wired. It's so much better I run a cable down two sets of stairs and into 5 different rooms just to get it.

same.. i bought these 'tracks' that go above the baseboard to hide the cords.. i got it going up and around doorways.. worth it for a stable connection though :)

I would use a 100ft cord before having to play using wifi.

wired definitely, it's a lot more reliable. I wouldn't play online games on a wifi connection, the connection itself is rarely stable and can be affected by so many things.
I'm not near my router, so I've got around 25m of cable running between my pc & console and it works very well.

Wifi, but only using 5GHz band 802.11ac, which is actually comparable with a wired connection over short distances.

Wired. Gotta have something for the ferrets to ######### with when an intense match is going on.

What is this discussion? You only use wifi when you don't have a choice

Wired. My router is right next to my XB1 so it'd be scummy not to play wired.

Definetly wired. I trailed a ethernet cable throughout so many rooms and walls just so I wouldn't need to use wifi.

Wired.

where as technically you are correct, even in those short distances Atmospheric Disturbances and Inversions can tank your signal. It is the nature of the beast. if you're curious, tune in an AM radio station on your car radio (a VERY STRONG SIGNAL/CLOSE one) and then go under an overpass and see how that affects your signal it'll fade even if only a little. A wired connection does not have an issue with that. HOW EVER you can still play online games on the wifi yes but realize that there may be some dips in performance, especially with intensive communication games like DBD.

For a lot of games, wifi is fine, but real time based games like dbd, shooter or rts depend on the good connection, and wifi just doesn´t cut it.

Wired ofc (and a fast TV Monitor) both greatly affects your gameplay. Many play on a super slow TV without even knowing that they lose like 50-100ms to latency

I haven't played DBD in months because my WIRED connection jumps between 80 and 800ms LOL

I'd love to be able to use wired but its impossible in my current living situation. Doesnt matter how good your wifi is it will never be consistent
