Now I know why people tunnel, bring moris, slug every game
Just had 2 games in a row where the last 2 survivors just jumped in the hatch infront of me while all i could do was to stand and watch because of a key
First game they bringed in a key but i didnt see it at lobby so i was suprised by them opening the hatch but fair enough
Second game made a 3 gen as blight killed 2 of them 1 of them found a key in chest and the hatch spawned right next to them
after that last game i finally realized why people tunnel and bring moris because the game forces you to do this or you just get bullied and "outplayed by a key spawning in a chest "
But atleast the killers are the power role right?

You can dodge a lobby with a key. You can't dodge a lobby with a mori.
And no, just because someone escaped by hatch (with or withou tthe key) does not mean you get "bullied". That means you would've won the match anyway, and the real downside is just you losing some bloodpoints.

By your logic, killers should always get a 4k, because they are the power role, right? That's wrong.
The game should be balanced, not a power role on either side.

And how often do you find keys in chests? Not very often, right? And even then, you may not even have a chance to even use them during the match.
Moris, however, can always be used and are much more common in matches than finding keys in chests.
There's also Franklin's Demise. Just pointing it out.

Moris also make you lose emblem points. On an even larger scale.
And if you think moris can be countered consistently, then either stop trolling or learn the basics of the game. Cheers.

Keys are pretty common in chests. I had a game where I was doing a chest challenge so we added 2 more and 3/5 chests had a key. In the end I gave every person on the team a key and I kept a purple flashlight. Granted this situation was with plunderers, but I have plenty of times that it isn't.

You can bring keys as well as bring moris. There's no dodging either of them. And idk where you get the statistic of more moris than keys. I literally see keys every other game. If anything the chance of a key in the game is more than moris. 4 survivors, 4x more chance of a key. And on top of that there's chests.
Let's not forget that you now can bring offerings that literally tells you where the hatch spawns which means the chance that you use a key is significantly improved.

If you think you counter moris by "each survivor taking the killer" then I really doubt you know the basics of the game. Maybe you didn't realize, even though you "played since the beggining", that it is the killer that chooses who he will chase, not the survivors. And the case is that most killers tunnel off of the hook if they have a mori. So I'm assuming you are just trolling.
And no, it's easier to get emblems as the killer, if you play at least decently. Try getting 4 iri emblems as a survivor, alright?

I'm speaking from my personal experience and I play both sides regularly. I don't see people bothering with "last second switching", no one does that. And if you can see a key in the lobby, you can just dodge it. Unlike moris.
And I'm not saying the new offerings, nor keys, nor moris are OK. They all need to be rebalanced. But moris are far worse than keys.

The spawn rate of keys is actually fairly high
Just yesterday i did the challenge of unlocking 2 chest with ace in the hole
Both the chest had keys and one even had the addon that reserved it after i died so i still have it.
I remember i was trying to farm some flashlights and got legit annoyed at how often i got keys

I'm a killer main. I don't really care when people escape with keys because I know there's not much I can do about it and most survivors also know that keys are bs, so I don't consider it a loss. To me, if a survivor brings a key, they want to escape badly. If they want it that bad, they can have it. It's actually kinda humorous.

Alright, I checked the wiki for mathematical values. The probability of a key is 7% without plunderer's and 14% with it. Sounds like a very low percentage. Remember that GREEN keys are included.

But do know that there are 3 chest so it's actually ~19.5% without Plunderer and ~36% with it. Still with green keys included ofcourse

It's actually very easy to pip up as both sides. I mean survivors actually have to do all of those 3 things decently and a lot to get high emblems, while as a killer you just gain emblems for simply playing the game. I think it's you who doesn't play decently if you can't get high enough emblems as a killer.
And is touching a generator a "gen rush" to you? You really need to take a break my guy.

I guess I enjoy mori's more than the next player because I don't care if a killer brings one. I love the animations and a killer should kill. Obviously the instant mori when you get saved is annoying btw some survivors need to stop the unhooking in the killers face. I myself think mori offerings could work on a token system NOT after 2 hooks, 3rd hook state(that's dumb imo) but keys just need the ratio fixed while searching chests, a perk should not guarantee multiple keys(plunderer's). Keys and mori's should stay just some people need to understand that humans take advantage of everything if it benefits them....mori's, keys, 3 to 4 peep swf or the worst thing in this game OoO with a swf....

What are you talking about? It could be a yellow mori or even a shroud. You can't tell if survivors will find a key from chests or not. Closing game on loading screen is a cheap and dumb move.

Actually tru3 isn't good so don't use him as an example. You are biased, not to mention bad, if you think that getting genrushed has no counter. Its called slugging. You get at least three off gens. Learn how to play.

Wow so many people trash tru3talent but Imo he is good at this game but his personality can be over bearing but no person is perfect, if you don't like him that's your opinion not a fact I personally find him, Otz and MrGimmsYouTube to be the streamers I enjoy and learn from

They are the power role and the game is already balanced around it. The whole point is that the killer is far stronger than any one survivor, but the survivors have the advantage of teamwork.
Notice how it is impossible to loop a killer indefinitely, eventually you will get caught no matter what. But by being chased you buy your team time to do their objective.
The killer should always be stronger than a single survivor, that’s the point, but they should be equal to the team as far as balance goes.

I can understand but remember a person who plays so much deals with so much criticism(and worshipping) which changes or highlights personality traits. I can enjoy him because he does play by play and teaches a lot and I feel as a human I can ALWAYS learn more, no matter the source

I don't feel I'm entitled, I've only got a 7 devotion and play both sides consistently at red ranks, I personally think 3k should be average because it is a horror game so I'm biased in that aspect but I play a whole lot of survivor while I bake at night and don't care if I escape so I don't feel entitled nor do I believe anyone controls my behavior but me

I'm a member of the gimmicks nation I find him to be a decent human being as I watch all week while I work on crap but I think you need to consume a lot of differing opinions on things because it broadens the horizon if ya know what I mean

it's funny how 3k doesn't guarantee you rank up, even tho you did your objective, but 4k gives you +1 most likely.
but then again, survivor can rank up even if he/she doesn't escape...easily.
so yeah, this is probably why mori and tunnel isn't very good idea against potato survivors, at least.
mori, tunnel and slugging most likely results in low points, but so what? I think killer should get +2 if he kills them all, this, of course, if killer doesn't mori everyone after the 1st hook.

Idk I've used mori's and get over 30k, it's about getting as many points from each survivor as possible, chase and hit everyone more than the bare minimum. If your using a mori spread damage and hooks and if you mori after the 3rd Gen and your putting in the work I generally atleast 1 pip but often two pip because when there is a mori some players turtle up cause of the threat. A lot of people think because a mori is in play the killer will play jerky but that's not always the case

Playing Killer doesn't feel like the power role so long as Survivors have so much utility that depends strictly on chance to use against you.

it's how you use mori, u cannot expect 30k if u mori after the 1st hook, unless you get the upperhand and have time to chase survivors a alot without fear of generators getting fixed.

You can dodge a lobby with a mori. It's called closing the game during the loading screen. Besides, most mori's I've seen are in response to a key.

Tru3ta1ent has this thing where he likes to talk about everybody else being toxic and entitled, but he can be quoted, verbatim, as saying that "all he goes against are tournament level teams". He honestly believes that. He believes he's that good (don't get me wrong, he's okay, but just okay). He literally believes that he faces nothing but 4 man tournament level sweat squads constantly. While also talking about toxicity and entitlement from everyone else.
In my opinion, nothing is more toxic OR entitled than blaming everyone else for your own screw ups, and then refusing to own up to your own #########.

Let’s be realistic here.
As a counter point, just because in your view that’s how the game should be balanced doesn’t mean keys are.
You don’t even have to really look that hard for hatch because it can spawn right at your feet, since that’s how the system works where the spawn location is already established by the time the match starts.
So even when the killer finds it first, there is little to no effort in using a key.

Oh I've heard him say questionable things but me saying "he is good and I can learn from him" also means I'm trying to be positive and not bash people....yes he needs a filter but if you ever do anything on camera 40 hours a week while your mind is actively doing multiple things at once, ya are gonna say things without too much thought....I'm not waving a flag for him but people bash like he is in your personal life

I don’t get how people keep repeating the Tru3 is bad line because they dont agree with him.
He doesn’t main anyone so yeah you can say “Umbra is way better with Huntress”, or “Jund is way better with Oni”
And yeah sometimes he makes bad plays, such as chasing when he should drop it, or ignoring information from perks he’s using. He doesn’t play some games as well as he could.
But to say he’s an outright bad player is ridiculous. Overrall he’s pretty good and tends to win most games anyway. How high is the bar set to be a good player? Is this the “every killer needs to make no mistakes” argument?
He says all the time he could slug but how its boring for everyone and he prefers chases and hooks. That’s what a lot of us prefer. None of us playing killer want to be slugging the team, but as we saw in the tournament even the competitive teams get obliterated as any killer other than Nurse when they can’t slug.

The issue I have with Keys is that they can be used by every Survivor, no matter who brought it, to escape. Mori's still require putting the work in to run down a Survivor two separate times and hook them once before it's even usable. Keys are just set on a clock and are even more imbalanced by the forced spawn add-on.

I've been playing for 3 years and I have never seen so many keys. People bringing them and I've seen keys spawn in multiple killer games for survivors when NO ONE is using plunderers or any luck offering. It's kinda crazy. the games giving them out like candy on Halloween

I've been dodging Moris lately in the load screen. I'm over it. I said recently what if there was a Ebony Repairman offering 300% repair speed of ALL=MORI's. If ebony isn't changed to the death hook I will dodge them FOREVER!
To killers: Just play the game. To all survivors: STOP bringing a KEY...JUST PLAY A NORMAL GAME. These EZ crutches annoy me.
I don't hate keys I just hate seeing them so often. I Love seeing Mori's, but the current ebony is ridiculous
