Deliverance -- Do you use it?

I ask because as a solo queue-r I find myself being left for second phase way more often than I should be, so I'm considering using the perk in a build like Deliverance, Kindred, BT, and Iron Will.

No, I don't. This might just be because I often find that when I use it, I get hooked first (legitimately all four survivors could be using deliverance, I will be crouching in a corner as Blendette as three others work on gens and I will still be the first to be hooked) but I rarely ever find myself getting any value from the perk. There are always better choices (he says, having WGFL in his build).

I use it most of the time in solo Q. Dying on my first hook as a survivor because nobody wanted/could save me is extremely annoying, and worth the risk of a useless perk slot to me. Deliverance has easily enabled some of the most absurd escapes I have had in the game.

I only used it when I did the Achievement for Self-Unhooks. Other than that, I prefer to get rescued by a teammate (and healed) and I always have the feeling to be on the hook first when using Deliverance.

I traditionally had really bad luck when trying to use Deliverance and didn't enjoy how little it ever seemed to come into play. It's ironically a better perk in SWF than for solo survivor.

It may not fix your problem if you're often matched up with selfish anti-altruism survivors, but I like to bring Kindred to make it blatantly clear who (if anyone) is coming to save me. Plus Kindred helps punish the occasional campy-killers by showing them to my team, so that my sacrifice might still buy time for someone else's escape.

Same. Plus i don't want to "steal" any points from my teammates.

I think deliverance is a selfish perk.

I mean how many times did you see on YT someone DC when you use deliverance or 4% in front of his face? 🤗

Rarely since every time I use it I get found and hooked first or never hooked at all

It's not something I run often but I do for fun especially with the whole DH, Unbreakable, DS, Deliverance build and being at 0 hooks until end game makes you just go in for a 1 for 1 trade without fear since you played that "build" through to it's max potential for a 4 man escape. Makes folks really salty though if they go an entire match without even downing every survivor at least once

I used to run it all the time and it can be pretty damn useful for sure but useless when people go for quick saves on you, or you get hooked before you unhook. I'd probably go back to using it if your aura colour changed for the other survivors to show you had it active.

No, because it's a pretty weak solo que perk. It's basically designed as an extremely powerful SWF perk, since they are the only ones you can coordinate with to both activate it and get it's full effect without anyone else wasting gen time to run halfway to you before you yeet off and run to a gen with DS.
