More killer perk slots?

What would happen if we just give the Killers more perkslots?
Even the devs in their streams said on multiple occasions that this perk should be a feature or that perk should be permanent.

    There has to be some challenge to the game otherwise what is the point. And as far as permanent perks I don't think that would be good as I love mixing and matching perks to build something new and unique. I like the structure the way it is. With that being said it would be cool to have an ultra rare offering that allowed you to have an extra perk slot that would be cool.

    think how it would be implemented by some standard build ruin,dh,bbq,enduring,noed is impossible 5 perk slots if u do 5 slots for killers, then for survivors >_<

    You realize survivors get 16 perks total right?

    I mean I can agree and disagree because during a chase it's just 4 Perks vs. Perks  but when they group up even one to block a hook or 2 it becomes his perks against yours 8 to 12 against 4. At the end it seems the most unfair though because they're all grouped up in the exit gate. So it becomes how many people remaining against 1 and it's just what's the point of even trying any more

    The problem is that it is 4 perks versus 16.
    And that killer perks should be much stronger than survivor perks, but they are not.
    Don't get me wrong, there are good perks, but they are not powerful enough.
    Sloppy Butcher, Bloodhound, Brutal Strength, etc.
    You would need like 6 of those to keep up with the perks that survivor bring to the table.

    With survivor perks able to benefit teammates as well as yourself, I don't think a 5th perk for killers is beyond reason. 1 perk for every 4 survivor perks and a final perk because your solo.

    With ruin so core for many killers while being a hex, killers are pretty much running three perks.

    SWF exists. Against them it is 16 perks total. And as an Xbox player SWF is very very common. You did realize that right? SWF breaks the 4 perk rules technically.

    Yup as they run perks that synergize and has built in bond and kindred due to chat party.

    I think more perks slots for killers would be great, Its an opportunity to buff them and with more and more perks in the game it makes builds much more interesting as quite a lot of perks are if not mandatory at least way better then most options. An additional perk slot would make more diffrent builds viable.

    An other way would be to make some perks that all killers could benefit from no longer perks but just baseline for all killers. For me shadowborn would be a great thing to make permanent. The killer fov is very low and i think shadowborn field of view would be a great baseline fov. If this would be done shadowborn could either increase fov even further for people who want that or just get a different effect.
