What are some good sister perks to second wind?

I just got Steve today and I’d love to give second wind a try but other than adrenaline, I don’t know what perks would pair well with it. I’d greatly appreciate it if any second wind gamers could pop a suggestion or two in the comments of this discussion. Thanks in advance and I hope you all have a lovely day.

autodidact: it basically guarantees you will activate second wind even when healing in threes making second wind more consistent

I never used it in combination but maybe Off the Record? Having Iron Will and an Aurablocker for a certain time after being unhooked helps you in hiding long enough to heal yourself.

The correct answer is We'll Make It and Deliverance. Don't be the first person hooked and you pretty much get a guaranteed free unhook and self heal with Second Wind

Doesn't second wind deactivate when your already broken. And you become broken from deliverance

If you can activate Second Wind before getting hooked, you might also benefit from perks that better protect/hide you after being rescued.
- DS acts as some possible anti-tunneling insurance. Y'know, in case you get chased before Second Wind is done healing you.
- Off the Record hides your aura and silences grunts of pain for 80 seconds after being unhooked. That's more than enough time for Second Wind to activate and heal you.
- Lucky Break is a weaker alternative to OtR, but it will prevent you from leaving pools of blood, provided you haven't used up the perk beforehand.
- Kindred may be worth bringing just to encourage teammates to rescue you in a timely manner.
And whatever you do, DO NOT combine Second Wind with Deliverance or No Mither. The Broken statuses they inflict will prevent SW from activating.

Something like Botany, Desperate Measures, Etc. to speed up the process of healing someone else.
Dead Hard, Resilience, Etc that benefits you for being Injured during the period of time after being Unhooked.

Second Wind does work with Deliverance. It just heals you after the broken status wears off

Do you mean that the heal happens immediately after you’re no longer broken? Or do you mean that one must wait a further 30 seconds after the full minute from deliverance?

I tried Second Wind and Deliverance, they don't work together because Second Wind heal you after 30sec and Deliverance you are broken for 60sec.

Update. Deliverance and Second Wind don't stack anymore it got patched... so you literally stay injured with the Perk lit up when the broken status ends.
Second of all. I realized that Second Wind is a stupid perk because Killers come back to hook all the time. So there's no guaranteed opportunities to heal someone off hook anymore and if you get unhooked and they notice you have second wind it's like putting a massive "tunnel me" sign on your back because it encourages them to slug you to keep the perk from activating at all.
If you want a cool perk to help with unhooking just run Deliverance, its much more reliable and fun to use.

I'm gonna put my vote on We'll Make It. Healing someone after unhooking them, especially after they get notified that You have WMI, is the easiest and most consistent healing event You can get in game. Otherwise, finding someone injured and not in chase and not half healed from Self Care may be tedious.
Other than that, any Aura-reading perk (Bond, Empathy) plus healing perk (Botany, Desperate, Autodidact) combo would work well. Main problem with Second Wind is activating it, imo.
