Speaking Of Maps, You Like The Direction Maps Are Going In?
Title, are you liking the newer maps over the older maps?
Please do disregard stuff like bugs & unintentional things like fat-shaming spots, those are a problem on their own. 😜
This is about asking you if you like what the devs are trying to do for future maps.
You can (dis)like their direction for whatever reason of course, that's all fine 'n' dandy.

I don't like how they're adding breakable walls for the sake of... adding breakable walls???? like they're just "there we added breakable walls"
like in dead dawg you had a lot of breakable walls in which if you break them the advantage is yours, the loop is shorter and no longer an infinite, but in badhm they're in really awkward spots where if you break them you just cuck yourself.. other than that i have no complaints

they are obsessed with making indoor maps for some reason, and breakable walls are just annoying definetly prefer the classics like autohaven

Well they improved visibility in Yamaoka overall (although I still think it's not to the standard I'd want) and made Badham less obnoxious as killer, I wouldn't say the two realm reworks we've seen so far are totally amazing, but they're definitely leaning positive for me.
Main issues I have is I'd like further visibility improvements
Thing is, I hated Yamaoka and Badham beforehand, whereas I like Macmillan, so I think I need to see what they do to the actual good maps rather than the bad ones, so far it's just been making some ######### maps a bit less #########.

At first I was kinda neutral, but now I'm disliking breakable walls. I feel they don't really add nothing good to the gameplay and in many cases they just feel like forced timesinks.

The simple classic maps like Autohaven, Coldwind, and Macmillan were always the most enjoyable and I've never liked how they insist on making 1 high-concept map each chapter rather than four more streamlined ones like the original realms.
I'll echo all the annoyances about breakable walls for the newer maps, but beyond that I think the recent slate of maps (since Oni's) have been better than the ones we were getting before. I still groan when I roll most of the maps from the period of The Game thru Hawkins.

I like the idea of breakable walls, I hope they add it on every maps.
I like the artistic direction too, can't wait for new graphics updates.
But I still think totems are not hidden enough.

Despite being pleasant to look at I think midwich isn´t exactly well designed balance wise.
I dislike Salon, too, since in my opinion the same applies.
I like the changes to badham and Yamaoka Estate though. I hope they will do a good job with MacMillan, I love that realm.
So I have mixed feelings about the direction they´re moving with the maps.

I´d like an appointment, please^^
Edit: Darn I just realised xD

I wondered when someone would bring up Midwich.
Considering the immense influx of complaints on release, i figured it would be mentioned.

Aesthetically yes, midwich looks amazing and the graphics update is terrifying. Gameplay wise it plays like ass.

I love the atomosphere of the new reworked maps but honestly, as survivor it's hell. Breakable walls on 2 entry points? I mean, who thought that was a good idea? The second you enter that school in Badham, you're pretty much trapped down there with the killer unless they've decided to smash the walls, which most don't. The grass is also a bit much for my liking. When I play as killer on there, and Yamaoka, I feel like I see more grass than I do scratch marks sometimes.
