"Baby" Killlers
I don't get the term as when it applies to Spirit. I get it if the Spirit is just facecamping or something but otherwise imo she takes some skill, even if not as much as others. Just an interesting note I got from a salty survivor.

I got a 2k on spirit once. I was drunk. FML.

If you don't know what you're doing, it's pretty easy to suck at Spirit.

I believe “baby” usually refers to time played in the role. People making new player mistakes, not having perks, that sort of thing. I call any killer at like a low rank with no real game sense and basic, low tier perks “baby” in casual conversation and it’s usually because I feel terrible about matchmaking. It’s never about the choice of killer itself.
Spirit was one of my first killers when I finally started to actually play the game and not lurk on the community and just watch streamers. I was consistently 4King even when I had no idea what I was doing and I’ve since stopped playing her since I don’t usually have a lot of fun playing against her (though to be fair I don’t run into her often anymore and if I do, it’s usually an Ebony mori painful game because teammates panic and don’t know how to counter). I’ll revisit her soon since she’s honestly great and I do love her

Darn. I played Spirit maybe 10 games total.Got her achievements but I think it was the only 4k I got with her. I find her to be the hardest Killer to play apart from nurse or hag, but that´s just me^^

So not being sweaty enough to slug for the 4k every game is wrong?

she takes skill just not mechanical skill like billy or nurse its more game knowledge than anything, the gap between a god spirit and a good spirit is very apparent, kind of similar to the way you can tell a good nurse from a god nurse. but i dont really want to get into too much detail, but the skill gap is not as insane as hunty or billy

Mostly this is a nasty word to refer to a new killer. Don't let it bother you - you'll hear much, much worse.
It depends entirely on who you are facing?
Someone of moderate skill solo? You will do well.
A smurfcomp SWF who know how to perfectly juke and evade her? You'd be better off with someone who can instadown.

It's just bad sportsmanship. Some people not mature enough to appreciate the participation of an opposing team in a constructive way trying to build their self esteem up by what should be a futile attempt at tearing someone else's down.

If your team gets at least 3k by spirit every game, something's wrong with you probably. Why your team always got 3k when you're in it?

Ignore the ochido fanboys please. Anybody who still says "baby killer DOOD" unironically shouldn't be taken seriously.

that isn't what I said at all but keep twisting them words bud

She's lethal on Backwater Swamp. I'm struggling atm but got an easy 4k with her on that map last time out.

It depends on whether or not you are running Stridor with a good headset and audio setup. If you have all 3, she is borderline brain-dead. If you dont, she actually requires some skill, because you don't get any information from IW users (because the perk is bugged) and it's harder to track normal survivors, which means you actually have to think about what you are doing.

I'll usually refer to a killer or survivor as a baby if they play like a newbie. There is a really clear gameplay difference between new killers and survivors, and veterans- and with enough playtime, you can see which player is where in game.
I also use this term to refer to players who have odd builds with low level perks that usually either struggle to synergize well together, or have no real value for a good player- because that usually means that they haven't put the time investment into that Killer/Survivor.
(I should note as well that of course I never talk poorly about these players in chat, and we really shouldn't be throwing around the term 'baby killer' or 'baby survivor' as a bad thing. This game has a pretty big learning curve for new players, and a massive grind. It's not easy for them, and being a baby killer or survivor isn't a bad thing. Especially a baby killer- it's hard to pick up a new killer, and I don't think people give new players enough credit imho.)

Baby killer is a term used to insult killers who...
-respect pallets

I get consistently 3/4ks with her with or without stridor but there's still occasional matches where I get my butt handed to me sometimes even in those matches that I have stridor. Some survivors have actually learned to play against her instead of crying about SPiRiT hAvInG nO CoUnTeRpLaY.
Everyone has bad matches sometimes no matter what killer or map they play and it doesn't make anyone bad based on one match even if they lose with a strong killer. Those survivors who immediately say the killer is a baby/bad/boosted whatever based on that one performance are just stupid and their word means nothing.

Low rank Spirits are really bad. They resort to good old "camp, tunnel, NOED" to win. They don't have the confidence to use her power in a chase especially if they try and have a few misplays. Spirit also takes prediction, thats why it's so easy to juke a baby spirit because you can predict her but she can't predict you.
I've said this before but a low rank Billy will do much better than a low rank Spirit. In general less experienced killers do better with ones that are 115%
This isn't to say she's as demanded as Nurse or huntress but she's definitely not a "anybody can pick her up and win" kind of killer.
