Who To Level Next?

My options are:

  • Wraith: I really, really have fun playing the bing bong boi despite him being...not very good. Plus his perks seem craptastic.
  • Freddy: Quite powerful (although I don't see what all the complaints about, he certainly isn't Nurse). Sort of fun to play, but his perks are meh and I'm not a fan of his visuals.
  • Ghostface: I love stealth killers, but he seems insanely fiddly. Actually does have perks I want.
  • Oni: Not a fan of 'big' killers, but he does seem somewhat fun (and I may finally learn how to chase better) and his perks are reasonable.
  • Pyramid Head: Still torn on the big dude. People seem very good at juking my blasts and I do not understand how to use his cage practically. Also bleh perks.

Thoughts?

If you´re going for perks, I´m afraid none of these could be considered great.

I use GF and Oni quite a lot. In my opinion they´re more challenging to play to their fullest potential but very rewarding if you get them down.

Be prepared to be revealed often and rekt by pallets if you go for Ghostface until you got more practice. My go to "Stealth" Killer is still Myers.

Even more so for Oni. Read a post today of someone asking if he got nerved. Several people agreed that it´s more likely that Survivors have gotten way better at avoiding not only the first, crucial hit but also which tiles are pretty much fully safe against the Kanabo.

Wraith is a Killer I play occasionally but find him fun too.

Freddy gets real boring real fast if you ask me.

Not so sure about conehead, I got his perks and achievements and never touched him again.

You sound like me when it comes to killers. And since you sound like me, I would say go with GF, stay away from Oni. I tried him yesterday and unfortunately didn't have fun.

Ghostface just so you can bag around the map. I find it endearing...☺️

Likely leaning towards Ghostface after Wraith. I just...really like Wraith. A killer I genuinely want to get good with.

    Wraith of course!

Exposed hits from uncloak & landing super-lunges just make me go MMM!

Good choices. Wraith and Ghost faces are both really fun. Stealth killers can really get creative! Expect to need to practice body blocking with Wraith. It's one of his best tools at a disposal, and not always clear to all players. 👍️

Which killers did you play before and which ones did you find fun or not out of them? Which perks do you use and on which killer rank do you usually play?

i like Wraith and Ghostface very much, but I am not playing killer on high ranks..

Strictly for perks, Ghostface is the only one with perks i ever use. Thrilling tremors and im all ears are decent. Other than that, maybe blood warden from Freddy

Other than that, i think ghostface is the only one of those killers i have play.

Of those? Just play the one you have the most fun with. None of them are tied to "essential" perks, IMHO.

TBH, I only perks I think might be considered "Tier S" level are Save the Best for Last, Hex: Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ & Chili and Corrupt Int. Maybe Undying and Noed too.

    Wraith and if not, Freddy.

Thanks! Yeah, going to have to learn a lot of stuff. My major issue is in chases, or where people seem to be able to see me clearly no matter where I am.

If your wanting to have an easy to play killer on those days where you don't want to really think then choose Freddy.

For me he's my go-to when it comes to challenges since he's not that tough to play. It's really nice being able to do extremely well while not really thinking, kind of like survivor at times.

Perk wise his aren't the best but from the list you've chosen I don't think there's any real amazing perks there bar Thrilling Tremors.

I've tried Freddy a few times now. He is decent, but I find that if I need a 'do well' killer, I default to Doctor or Hag.

No idea why, but my Doctor games almost always go brilliantly. That red stain addon just flummoxes people.

Freddy is the easiest killer to play without having to master him. Every other killer you need to know how to play them properly to do well. Doctor's also extremely good but I feel like I need to concentrate to do well with him.

Also please never mention you playing Hag infront of me.. I cry everytime I hear someone say that.

    Ghostface having no downsides

    Just sayin

Trust me, if you prioritize stelth over stalc, you'll get much better results.

I'd say Ghostface/Oni and Pyramid Head, Ghostface and Pyramid Head are 2 of my mains and I love them, Oni is a secondary and I think he is a better Billy with a slightly more challenging side, you gotta work to get your power unlike Billy

I really don't get the Hag hate. Firstly...nobody plays her. Secondly, unless you are dealing with someone with hair-trigger reflexes, top tier perks and incredible mapsense, she isn't that hard to counter play.

The second I get a team that uses a flashlight to remove my traps or knows to crouch over them, I get skunked. And yet...so few do.

I'd personally say Wraith or Oni, they are both really fun (and Oni is pretty powerful once you get the hang of him).

I think Freddy is really boring on both ends, but he's very strong for how ridiculously easy he is to play. He may be the best killer for learning the ropes (and doing many of the Tome Challenges), but I hardly use him beyond challenges and rituals these days. If you already feel like a pretty decent killer player though, I'd pass over him for someone with a more entertaining power.

I don't like Ghost Face, but there's plenty of neat gameplay to work with there if you like Wraith (or Pig or Myers). More importantly, he has the perk I'm All Ears, which is really good on Pyramid Head. Plus Thrilling Tremors, which is nice.

Yeah doing Wraith first, then Ghosty.

My main gripe with both is that Spinechill counters them insanely hard, making for some very frustrating games.
