How do you counter perma Evil Within lll Myers?
Hello! I just played a match where the Myers had the add on that allows him to stay in tier 3 indefinitely and I was wondering if anyone had any tips that might help play around this, since we just spent the rest of the match hiding and not doing any gens.
Any help is appreciated :)

Don't let him get there in the first place. That's it.

"Myers Main" here.
If he manages to get to EW3 before you have 3-4 gens popped, you´re likely screwed.
It´s largely dependant on how much Evil the Survivors feed him up until then. Oblivious teammates can really screw you over on this one.
If however the Survivors are aware (usually a Myers only stalking and not going for chases is a dead giveaway) and manage to break LOS as much as possible it becomes really hard for Myers to get to that stage.

You need to be super safe at your loops and windows.
Dont greed and drop early.
Honestly once he hits t3 if you have more than 2 gens left to go its probably gonna be GG. Most perm t3 myers run infectious fright so snowballing is almost unavoidable and will most likely result in a 4k for the killer or a 3k with a hatch escape.

Honestly it shouldn't pop into permanent tier 3 so quickly - I had a match tonight that went similarly with the other 3 survivors giving meyers free stalk that upon looking at me as soon as I solo popped the first gen he went T3. So with basically 4 gens remaining - the meyers is running around stabbing people because 3 potatos including the obsession (because that was the stalk addon meyers was running) decided to teabag infront of meyers instead of abusing LOS to stop him from getting there. Bad teammates are going to throw games for you - just gotta live with it since its a 4 vs 1 game by design. It's like that single survivor who cleanses and gets reinfected 6x before he even gets broken within the first 2 minutes of the game... then wonders why we're getting infinite corrupt purges rained on us for the rest of the match.

You don't you get that teammate that feeds the myers off of their juice 1 minute into the game

Given your description it shows that it´s less of a balance issue but a clear case of "git gud" for those teammates. Rest assured, few players keep feeding Myers like that as they become better.

You don't. If you failed to build up enough momentum while he spent last 10 min getting it, your screwed.

Yeah that makes sense, unfortunately that specific match someone fed him quite fast and we had only done about 2 gens at that point lol. Thank you!

You´re welcome:)

Yeah this honestly sucks sometimes. Thankfully I was with a friend and we broke LoS immediately after seeing him, clearly the other 2 guys didn't do that, but it is what it is I guess. Thank you!

To be honest the killer wasn't very good, he had quite a few good perks that he didn't make much use of so the match dragged on for quite a bit, but mostly cause everyone was scared shitless to move around lol its a very powerful add on for sure, just gotta try to not feed him I guess, thank you :)

If it makes you feel any better Perm T3 or Tombstone Myers aren't the easiest things to get set up. He's a team effort counter, but of course in this game you don't get to choose who your team is.

Also dont be afraid to do gens, if you get chased then you practice your looping till you go down and when your hooked if everybody is just hiding in corners just sucide and move on to the next game.

You die

He's still got no antiloop so just get better at looping and be conscious that you have a pallet to run to when doing a generator. If you know it's perma tier 3 don't waste time healing. Don't stack on one gen either.

Always rush gens against Myers so that the game is close to over before he pops it.

Well, he does have the vault speed that can help with mindgames...and a longer lunge.

if you let him get there before you get 3-4 gens done, play stealthy. or play how you would against a Plague

Don't heal.... run dead hard and loop him like the vanilla M1 Killer he is maybe?
0 -
Do gens, don't heal, be confident with your looping. Tuft of hair turns Myers into plague with a slightly better lunge and no power, that's all the add-on does.

Don't heal, rush gens, loop like normal. He's still M1 killer with a bit faster vaulting and very slightly longer lunge, that's not good enough to catch a good looper unless he screws up.

1) Don't let him stalk you. Don't feed him. No tbags, nothing.
2) Once he's got EWIII: don't heal if possible. It just takes too much time. You're a oneshot anyways.
3) Do gens. Do gens. Do gens.
4) Loop him like normal, but be aware of his larger lunge and faster vault speed. Conclusion: Don't be greedy around a loop, but also don't throw the pallet asap.

Stealth.

You counter him like any other M1 basic attack killer. You do gens whenever you can and you loop.
Myers can do absolutely nothing to stop you from looping.
If it's a typical slugging tier 3 Myers try not to get slugged near another downed survivor. This allows the remaining survivors to pick you up more easily as Myers can't be at two places at all times.

You complete the gens before he gets to tier 3 and Myers gets looped easily.

If the Myers is running corrupt and J Myers memorial with the tuft of hair, he's going to get it going with plenty of time to capitalize on it.
Best advice is drop pallets early because his tier 3 lunge is the biggest in the game. He has increased vault speed too so be careful at windows.

idk what you mean by counter, but you should really do your best to deny as much stalk as possible before he gets there.

Pay attention to where he is on the map - if he's chasing someone else, get on a gen. Spine chill helps too as as you've got time to get away if he's coming your way. Be sneaky, urban evade the hell out the of the place, don't make it easy for him.
