Nerf Decisive AND buff it

I have an idea for a major Decisive rework. Here it is:

If you are downed within 30 seconds of being unhooked, Decisive Strike activates indefinitely until you are picked up. Succeeding a skill check allows you to stun the Killer for 5 seconds.

This makes Decisive harder to abuse on both sides. Slugging and waiting it out doesn’t work anymore, but timer is halved so realistically the Killer should never be hit with it unless they’re legitimately tunneling or camping. And there’s a lot less synergy with Unbreakable.

    You've made it worse. Here's the new problems:

    • Being downed near at end game is an easy escape no matter where you are. Take the down and crawl to the door.
    • Removed locker synergy which helped prevent moris.
    • Unbreakable synergy is stronger. Add Soul Guard to this and you can run up to gens or hooks after being unhooked and force the down. Basically get yourself up with no worries at all.

    You've fixed 59 second DS but you've still made yours extremely easy to abuse.

    I came up with a DS fix but I've taken a completely different route to you to fix it.

    I still like the idea of having the perk's timer deplete twice as fast when working on a gen the best.

    I think having the perk's timer deplete twice as fast when doing actions like healing and gen repairing, and then having it go down slower while being in a chase would be nice.

    You got to think about this as a survivor main, the most toxic degenerates in gaming

    What I would do with that change is body block the killer every time because they must either hit me, activating my DS indefinitely, or ignore me while i bully them. Kind of like what i already do with BT.

    DS doesn't tick down in a chase, deactivates if you touch a gen for more than 1 second, lower it to 45 seconds


    Stays at anti-tunnel, can get off a gen if its a stealthy tunneling, slightly weaker so you don't have free reign for a minute.

    Wraith, GF, pig can abuse this since they can not start chases when in their in stealth mode

    DS was designed as an anti-tunneling perk. If the survivor wasn't immediately downed upon unhooking and is able to freely start working on other objectives, then DS should immediately end.
