Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Save The Best For Last Needs To Change

I don’t like how the perk incentivizes killers to outright ignore their obsession, who will be doing objectives the entirety of the match.

The amount of tokens granted on hit should be 2 or 3, not 1. It takes way too long to get use of the perk in a match currently.

Why not just give it the 40% at rank 3 from the start, and get rid of the tokens? It would be a lot more useful if the perk was only lost on the obsession’s death. Hitting the obsession should cause the normal attack cooldown to occur, maybe even slightly slower, but allow the rapid recovery to be available at its max value whenever hitting another survivor.

Stacks need to be gained faster, or need to not exist for the perk.

They did an outstanding job with this perk... ignoring a survivor means they dont get as much BP so... If you spread damage you can get 8 tokens relatively quick especially if they get stupid... this encourages to not tunnel or camp... it also allows you to keep your tokens after the obsession dies so if you have 6 tokens when they die you keep those for the rest of the game... it's a beautiful perk and should stay as is

Maybe you should try running Rancor with this perk? Ignore the obsession all game and then just kill them. Perk is very strong when it stays at a high amount of stacks for awhile. I'm going to make an end game build with this, Rancor and Blood Warden along with an extra perk.

What I'm saying is it can be very strong sometimes.

That’s actually a very valid point.

STBFL is really strong, and you really shouldn't ignore the obsession all game unless you can afford it. You shouldn't be aiming for full tokens and then just never hit the obsession. If you have a chance to get them, take it.

One of the most garbage perks in the game IMO. If trials lasted longer, it'd definitely be more useful. Spending the time to search for survivors only to find out you found your obsession puts you in a dilemma. Either down your obsession and lose stacks or ignore the obsession and waste valuable time. It's what.. 8 stacks to cap it? That's an insane amount of time to put into one that doesn't give you _that much _ of a benefit. One of the perks that I think could use a buff for sure.

In all the hours of watching God-tier streamers who have the guts the actually run this perk, I can't recall a single time they said, "STBFL is really good". Any meta perk is better than it.
