We might be needing a phrasebook for survivors and killers...
I mean, how often do you see survivor mains utter the phrase
'Deathslinger/Spirit/PH has no counterplay because there is no interactive experience'
when what they mean to say in plain English is
'I hate facing these killer because they require me to change my MO of genrushing and flashbagging at pallets, and instead actually pay attention to my surroundings'
Likewise you have some killer main complaining
'Spinechill is overpowered and needs to go'
when they mean to say
'I dunno how topay attention to my surroundings and fool the occasional survivors who might actually run SC'

This thread on the otherhand is more like
"If you didn't want to get camped then tunneled then you shouldn't have worn those clothes".
But you know they secretly wanted it.

I mean, Spinechill on a decent Blendette is horrible. . .

some handy definitions here:
genrushing: (adv.) Killer failed to apply pressure
Sweaty Killer: (adv.) survivor overestimated their own skill
gg: (adj.) good sportsmanship
ggez: (adj.) I'm about to hit puberty and feel very uncomfortable in my body

I think the ironic part is that the best counter to deathslinger is to just genrush since his 1v1 is so oppressive but his 1v4 is so bad, so it actually encourages it more than it dissuades it.

tell that to the survivors that cry bloody murder when they apparently collectively forget how to repair gens and instead swarm the hook the moment DeS/spirit/ph hook the first person

Oh with Spirit and PH the complaints are completely valid, PH slightly less because of his lack of movement but he makes up for it by being 115. Spirit just nyooms around the map, when using M/D ring at the speed of Billy just she's invisible, meaning good luck hiding against her or rushing through gens. Deathslingers I can consistently escape against because I can hold M1 (provided I'm not being tunneled, which many slingers seem to like to do to me) and PHs I can usually read successfully since I main him, but Spirit can perish in several pits.

spirit would be easily fixed by giving her an optical cue similar to wraith and slowing her down once out of phasing... (lbr, spirit is a knock-off of wraith in the long run, with superficial set-backs)

I find Spirit to be easy to counter, since they can only see scratch marks and blood. If they run NC it's just a case of hiding in a locker until they find a new victim, but it takes time to meet a decent killer who uses strategies other than camping/tunneling/slugging if ur in the brown/green ranks. Urban evasion is a must for me, and I find it easier to go behind a tree or toward another gen when she finds me, same with PH. I have a hard time with clown and doctor, just because they have a good range and you can't really do much when under their attacks at a close range.

Hi so I'm in red ranks, not brown/green. Spirits can't track blood but they have scratches and, this is the killer one here, sound. A spirit with a good headset and surround sound will dominate, particularly if they use stridor. Iron Will can only do so much, and you're limited to 4 perks meaning that in solo-q you're gonna have to make a lot of compromises, and you can bet as soon as you take off one perk the exact scenario you had it on for will happen 4 games in a row.

I like the term "flashbagging," props for inventing it.

I am rank 5 and two pips away from going back to 4, I have faced Spirit many times and I definitely prefer other killers lmao. I just think the counter should include UE because it's good for when you are doing a gen and she starts phasing. But yes, with certain add ons she can see blood, and I meant that if she uses nurse's calling with that it's over lol. Sound thing is good to know! I main GF and blight, I played her once and couldn't hear a thing. I'll keep this in mind!! Thank you, and good luck in future matches :)!

I mean, it's what they do, isn't it?

Yes, it is.

You really have no perspective, do you? It's like looking at Tru3Ta1ent. Everyone's gotta be toxic and out to get you, evidence to the contrary aside.
