Survivors get to phase.....
What if perhaps to replace DS or just as an anti tunnel mechanism a survivor just unhooked, gets to phase.
So, much like the Spirit 's power, when unhooked, you are no longer visible to either killer or survivors for say 20 seconds or so.
You can heal, but cant do gennys.
You can enter lockers, for those with inner strength.
The first 10 seconds you have spirit speed to cross the map unnoticed.
If you attempt to touch a genny, save, heal someone else you immediately come out of the phase world.
Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Just remove the spirit speed and I think it'll be really strong but manageable.

sooo basically if the killer hooks you at the end and the doors are open...you are free to go?

Okay that's a good idea for a perk but I think that a reworked DS would still make you get out of a killer's grab. I think the best they could do is to add a requirement to DS and make its duration shorter.

Smoke bomb soon as the unhooking happens the survivor can drop a smoke bomb if the killer is near by camping/tunneling or whatever the survivor vanishes to another part of the map π

Joking aside, I think it would cause too many problems.
Like, what happens when you want to heal the survivor immediately after unhook?

Not really, you just get iron will for a bit with off the record.
In this case you would be completely invisible.

That is a good question.
I guess you could forfeit it if you decide to get healed. Like perhaps survivors can see your aura for a few seconds.
If you allow them to heal you, you leave phase world immediately.
Or at least when the healing action is complete.

But.... how could survivors abuse this to frustrate the killers?
I think maybe instead the survivor should steal the killers weapon and run away at 118%, and the killer has to catch them to get their weapon back before they can injure/down anyone

I don't think it would be abusable.
It would also promote healing again and slow gen rush as you would lose invisibility if you touch a genny.

oh I know, I was just being silly. On a serious note I think the concern @BioX raised about being a free escape if the doors are open is valid, as well as it making BT useless. there are also those situations where if 2 people are hooked then a third unhooks both the 2 phasing survivors can split to opposite ends of the map and work on gens, pretty much guaranteeing that one of them will finish. I'm sure there may be other exploits/concerns that I haven't thought of.
I know you are going for a guaranteed safe unhook to eliminate camping/tunnelling, but personally I would like to see a perk "Stolen Time" where if you are unhooked within 16 meters of the killer then for 30 seconds any hit that would put you into the dying state injures the unhooker instead. so if they unsafe unhook with BT we're good, if no BT then they suffer for it

I like this. Survivors could also hide around corners and crouch down, and when the killer comes around a corner, they'd trip over the survivor and be stunned for 10 seconds! Then the survivor with the weapon could mori the killer!

That's similar to a version I proposed a few months ago. Instead of letting other decide your fate they get punished for farming you, but if they have bt they are good to go.
And this might also circumvent problem during egc while not completely.

I like that idea as well.
I guess it would have to deactivate during egc or you cant enter to gates when invisible.
But I like that stolen time idea. Might eliminate some hook farming
