If the MMR is completely BS why i get still red rank survivors to play against as a red rank killer?

I mean... i got red ranks constantly when i was green and purple rank cuz of BS MMR but i should get green and purple rank survivors as a red rank killer..... why is the MMR working on red rank killers?

    MMR is disabled atm

    MMR did not work the way they wanted so it is disabled. currently it is making matches based off of the ranking system. and if you don't get a match in a while (not told how long before it starts this) the system widens the gap between the rankings. and keeps doing so till you can get a full match.
