Make a Native American killer plzzzzz
Ive got an idea for a Native American killer called The druid. He can morph into a owl, and a werewolf. The owl will allow him to travel , but cant attk in this form. While the werewolf would be for the chase. As Werewolf form he can attk throw windows by leaping through it. Put the owl form on a 50 second cooldown. Make the Werewolf form with no cooldown but if he is stunned or flashlighted knocks him out of it. Giving him a 4 sec stun being knocked out of the werewolf form. Another thing for werewolf is that when a surv is injured causing bleeding the werewolf gains a speed buff like 5% but goes away if everyone is healed 100%. What do you all think?? I would love this so much

Somebody would be offended because survivors teabagged and bullied a Native American.

I don't know why I laughed 😂

Why is that any different that teabagging or bullying any of the other killers in the game?

Are you sure you want to open that can of worms?

I really want that "werewolf" type killer.

I hope the next original killer is female. Last one we got was Plague. Female Killers have been pretty great, too.

Well im native american,Blackfoot indian to be exact. It def wouldnt offend me or anything negative. Id love to see it tbh

Do you remember when people thought The Blight was some sort of werewolf haha?

I had my hopes up lol.
I don't think they'd ever do a literal "werewolf" as I think they believe it's a little too cliche. However I do think they could do a "The Beast" as a kind of entity touched animal per say.

So come up with a female killer idea.

People would just get offended. Doubt it'll happen with the how sensitive some people are about the topic.

Why tho? I didnt see any Asian people offend by Spirit or Oni. So why would the be offend by An Native american killer?
1 -
Zaitsev clearly seems to be jabbing at people who are more culturally sensitive by implying they get offended at everything for no reason, and I'm not here for it. There's no can of worms. I see no issue with making a killer based on Native American mythology.

Isn't Hag native American?

I always thought Jake was more Native American...
he jus doesn’t seem Asian, imo.

Just to clarify, it sounds more like the idea is "A monster from Native American mythology which kills people". I don't really know anything about Native American myths but I'm sure there's something cool that could be drawn on as a killer idea there. 🙂 (I think the Deer Woman has been used in one or two horror stories for instance.)

I'm just writing this comment cause I like this idea and I don't want it to fade away.

I thought I remembered a Deer Woman story from somewhere - Masters of Horror had an episode with her

Do I need to go into detail about how portraying Native Americans in a generalizing light would be worse than using a common trope that is already used in Asian cultures. Spirit is based on Onryō and Oni is just a vengeful samurai. They don't perpetuate anything negative or culturally insensitive. They could do it right, but I'm saying the odds are they wouldn't and people who are more culturally sensitive and Natives themselves might not approve of it. There aren't many horror themes you could take from Native culture to turn into a killer. There's skinwalkers. That's all that comes to mind for me. I'm not saying don't do it. I personally wouldn't care, but there would be people that would and BHVR would likely get backlash if they handled it poorly.

Thats a pretty cool idea but still like my idea with the morphing into animals.

Well im Native American and i would love to see it. Honestly i doubt any Natives would be offend by it.

Wow, I completely forgot about that series!
Cigarette Burns was crazy, but OMGz
...The Washingtonians was too much🤣
EDIT: should’ve done more seasons

I agree if they did it right Natives wouldn't care and it would only be performance activists that whine. I just think it would be tough for them to do well though. That was my main point about them maybe not taking the risk. Next killer is a licensed one though I think.
1 -
Maybe you wouldn't.
But some keyboard warriors would be offended and would "speak in your name"

Yeah that series was pretty wild. It had some really good episodes (I liked "Family" with George Wendt, aka Norm from Cheers) and some pretty terrible episodes.
The show's intro theme and sequence was pretty good too. 😄

Yeah, that would be great!
Like Nightwolf in MK with his Animality
That’s how devs should introduce a “wolfman” (like many players were interested in) into DBD, through a real Native American. He/She could change into a bear, a wolf, maybe even a giant eagle or sth. That would be really cool, as each would have their own special power!

I know very little about Native American culture and folklore, but I'm sure there are some cool creatures there that could make for some really cool killers

Ow no don't get me wrong. I wouldn't mind either. A shapeshifting killer sounds really cool tbh

I love the way that sounds. Awesome idea!
