Penalize teammates for not doing anything
Emblems should consider how much of the match you were actively doing something during a match.
I'm tired of being the one doing gens or whatever and getting hooked only for the rest of the survivors to be scared to even move a muscle. I always end up dying in most of these matches.

Are you maxing your boldness? How many pallet loops before your dropped and hooked?
I've seen plenty of games where all they did was run, still made more points dying than the people who escaped.1 -
Im not the best at looping but I can last say 2 or maybe 3 minutes if pallets were laid out nicely. Even then in some games it takes 5 minutes to get a single gen done especially with ruin up.0

Getting out alive without having been downed is an Iridescent, getting out is a gold. That itself is enough for me to be careful not to expose myself too much, not to mention those Stealth points. So... the best way to play I think is hiding close but not too close to a gen, and wait for either the killer doing his first round to pass by and leave upon seeing gen is untouched, or someone away from me getting hit. Then, and only then it is ok to get on the generator.
Same goes for hook saves. Better make a 100% sure killer is not camping, then go for it. So pointless to go for foolhardy heroics.1 -
You can never be 100% sure the killer is gone though. Some players drag out a game to be so long because they want to crouch around and not do anything. They still end up dying but it's always those who do the gens who get annoyed and hooked.0

Always doing something is what determines a good survivor from bad survivor. Too many bad survivors are at high ranks, they shouldn't be there.Emblems should consider how much of the match you were actively doing something during a match.

It was way easier to pip before the emblem system was implemented so at least they’ve throttled it down more than it was0

What in the world happened to my comment above? Lol never saw that before0

This scenario almost always happens to me at R1 on Xbox (I remember meeting you there, so you probably have the same experience):
1. Your teammates find out the killer has Ruin
2. All 3 of them start searching for it
3. One of them gets caught while searching and ends up on a hook
4. The other 2 are now waiting for the killer to leave so they can get the unhook points
5. They are now being hooked/unhooked until two of them are dead
6. You manage to repair 2 gens with Ruin and the killer finds you.
7. Your last teammate waits until you die and he escapes through the hatch.
Summary:
The last one that did almost nothing gets the most points while you get around 10k for gens.3 -

I always end up dying in most of these matches.I completely agree. Had a match last night, where I had to be afk for half of it. I mostly repaired a generator, and was being chased by the Doctor, when my mom demanded food (she doesn't care if I'm in the middle of a game), so I led the Doctor into the basement, and I pointed at the hook, but he just hit me once, and left. I went to make her food, and I came back to the game (the Doctor came back, downed me, and carried me to hook by a corner of the map, someone rescued and healed me at some point, so I was just standing in front of a hook). I then helped repair the final generator, and escaped, which granted me a pip. It's rather sad I can be afk for more than half the match and still pip,

Getting out alive without having been downed is an Iridescent, getting out is a gold. That itself is enough for me to be careful not to expose myself too much, not to mention those Stealth points. So... the best way to play at start I think is hiding close, but not to close to a generator, wait for one of two things to happen: killer doing his first round passes by and leaves when seeing gen is untouched, or, another survivor takes a hit far away. THEN it is time to hop on the generator. Save only when it's safe, and look for Ruin only, when one or two gens popped already, making the killer less fixated on his precious totem. And none of that BS heroism: bodyblocking killer and the like.
Honestly, one of the most beautiful aspects of dbd is that you're not just trying to outsmart the killer, but often you're on competition with other survivors. Sometimes you just have to volunteer one of them for the hook, so you can escape. After all, that's what they're there for.0 -

The first emblem iteration was perfect, but survivor complained that they had to work for their pips now.
Thats why devs made it easy AF to pip again.Oh, and btw imo you climb as killer too fast too

Try piping as a survivor when your alone and have to beeping deal with hackers people leading the killer to you dc killers because you managed to hide successfully after being unhooked or because you lost them sure easier to pip as a survivor when they actually play and don't try to fing f people over for fun or to waste there items0

You are not teammates. You are survivors.

Tell that to 3man swf teams that have the one solo screwed over by deliberately leading the killer to you as your healing hiding working on a gen or even nearby and they go and make noise to have you killed at lease a 2man team helps everyone and a 4man looks out for each otherthesuicidefox said:You are not teammates.
