To the devs
After going up against a lag switch squad and seeing ozt video where he said your tired of people saying fix the game to hell with your game. No point in reporting anyone because you want every ones money even if there cheating. You can nobody then cry about people who wish for a better game. I'm not the only one who has wasted too much time and money for y'all to not care the state of the game and yes this anger is in the moment but I took a break from the game to just see you anti cheat is so low end anyone could bypass it. People are going to say how do I know it was a lag switch? Getting near a survivor in the open for them to teleport to a loop or chase them off a heal for them to be right back on top of them when the ping was green in lobby is a dead give away. I'm not telling you to fix your game I'm asking you to upgrade it because it getting really old to just expect the bs.

Hey here's a tip: instead of bashing the devs, finish the reporting process. This is what you have to do
- In game report
- Submit ticket with video evidence
- Wait
- Make forum post about how you can report so others don't make this type of post
- Profit

Like I said I have wasted enough time for no progress. Reports at this point make zero difference. The company doesn't need you defending them there silence speaks volumes.

This is certainly part of it. They get heavily criticized no matter what, so I don't exactly blame them for being on the quiet side.
Also OP, it's not like they want lag switchers in the game. It's an ongoing issue that can't be quickly solved. Every game has their hackers, even big AAA titles.

Reports haven't made a difference because you haven't completed the process. Their silence doesn't speak volumes. THE DIRECTIONS I GAVE YOU ARE IN THE FORUM ITSELF. Literally I think it was game rules and it has a thread about reporting. Use your brain before making mindless punches at the devs' reputation. And no people like you are the reason I will continue defending the devs. I hate dev bashing unless there is literally nothing to get them out of the situation e. g. Almo's reason for pop nerf, but even then I say don't insult them just loudly voice your complaints. Stop dev bashing it ruins your and the devs' reputation by doing so.

So far I haven't met a SINGLE PERSON who is harassing the devs about fixing the game, or cosmetics, or licensed characters who WOULD KNOW ######### about any of that works,
Seriously, they seem to think coding and art is clicking one button, and that license holders would just throw their characters at the devs. Oh, they also seem to think that EVERYONE working at bhvr can literally be put into any of the departments...
Give the devs a bloody break.

Cheat reports (if you have valid proof) are 1-way ticket to ban-bay. I reported successfully 2 guys like that already.
Also, saying that "someone is cheating" without proof is exact case if i would say "you are cheating on your girlfriend". Even if this is not true, i can hop onto forums and say you were cheating. I need proof? Why? I can create new thread named "to the devs" and write a few juicy lines of how angry i am, because you were cheating.
I'm not saying you are wrong about that lag-switchers. I'm saying this thread is worthless without any proof.

I agree,I reported so many players with proof and nothing happened to them,they just care about money at this point,they dont care about the health of the game.

This year has seen a huge spike in hackers. Their anti-cheat solution just isn’t up to the job.
This is also why I think dc penalties should remain off for the time being until they improve the anti-cheat.

okay, so people messed with an .ini file. would it run on all platforms? is it accessable?
Look, I do agree that some stuff not being done is mindboggling, but to say they don't care at all is bullcrap.
You want to know what a company not caring looks like:
- An actual gamebreaking bug not being fixed for several months, if not years, and every mod that has been tested thoroughly by the community being deleted and prohibited.
- A HARDWARE damaging bug not getting fixed for months and the fault consistently being put on the players
- Custom Content being deleted and creators banned to have the exact same thing with new colours be put up for purchase
And before you go and claim point 1 and 2 are happening: you have no idea.

Reports do work and do lead to punishments if they are done properly, but if you refuse to follow the procedure and you just assume they won't take action anyway, that will just make the process harder and the hackers will not get punished.

Your point about them not banning bc they want their money does not make any sense. On the contrary, a banned cheater may even buy the game again, so you get net more whan banning the cheaters.

I reported 2 legit hackers with video proof,i'm waiting for over a week now and none of the have been banned,if you're hacking but still spend money in the game there's a high chance bhvr wont ban you.

This thread has run it's course. It has been explained that the ACM team is there to take care of it. Please keep in mind the game has many players, so there are most likely many reports in the game, too. They don't care if someone who breaks rules or cheats buys skins or DLCs - this is not a factor they care about when dealing with those people. They're treated equally.
