Hi, I checked forum rules to see if this was allowed, and it seems it is as I found nothing against it. So I've decided to go through with it! I hope you're excited to see a forum project come up.
I'd like to see if anyone is interested in joining me in an investigation (or experiment) with these goals and interests in mind.
Goal: Determine how the community reacts to positive in game and post-game reinforcement.
You will be given instructions in private for now. If they MUST go public, please tell me and they will quickly go up.
A general overview would be, that players are expected to play fair and be kind to their opponent when given the opportunity and record their reactions. I.e, an edited screenshot with no personal information.
Feel free to leave a message if you're interested here too! I genuinely believe this could be highly interesting and have a positive effect in stage 2. After all, this is information collecting. There won't be that many participants now, unless I need them.

As an Xbox player, it's a bit harder to test and do, since people can just ignore messages or think that you're trolling.
That being said, I have sent some positive messages to people and they have been grateful and benefited from them.

Remember, console players do NOT have to message post game. Just do the in-game stuff. If they message you first, respond.

Good luck with your experiment. For the record, however, many people already engage in friendly conversation both before and after the game. It may shock you to know but I do this already.

okay had a look at it and what I think your doing is an excellent idea, I'm suprised it hasn't been done before, this will help me out a lot and others, it is good someone is actually doing this

Wouldn't you need control groups to validate the results of this experiment? If so, we need a toxic group. To participate be as toxic as possible and post the results here.

It's not really about me, honestly. It's about, an us. There's already a decent amount of people wanting to participate, it's a group project. I can't do this myself, I need people and the best way to get that is if others see it.

The project is locking temporarily in 30 minutes. If you join as a new member, you may be unable to participate for a short time.
But all people will eventually be involved, so don't be discouraged.

Forgive the bump but I wish to tell everyone Phase One has begun. Joining now means you won't be able to participate in this stage of the project but more Phases and roles will be available later, and I'd highly encourage everyone to join.
Definitely not a mod for the project and definitely not promoting it. Not at all.
