Hilarious Post Game Messages

Was just in a match where it was down to 2 survivors and 1 gen left to complete.

The 3 gens left on the map were close enough the killer was able to make it extremely difficult for us to get any of them completed. Couldn't work on a gen more than a few seconds before you were run off of it.

The other survivor ended up getting caught before me. The killer camped them. While they were still on the hook they started messaging. Told me how useless I was because I couldn't even complete one gen in all that time.

I couldn't help but laugh at the overwhelming irony. How much cognitive dissonance does it take to think someone else sucks for not completing a gen, but you don't suck when you had the exact same amount of time and opportunity as the other person?

I have to admit the complete lack of self-awareness makes this my favorite ever post game DBD message. The complete utter delusion it took to send it is fascinating.

Hmmmm....... You might want to reread the original post. You jumped to a conclusion that isn't supported by the information. Do you see anywhere in that post where I said I did or did not finish the generator during that time? I specifically made the point this person was messaging me the moment they got hooked. They were angry I didn't get the generator done BEFORE they got caught. For the record I was working on the generator during all that time. I was still working on the generator while they was being camped and messaging me. I finished the generator while they were being camped. However, the state of the generator was irrelevant to the fact this person was angry I didn't finish the generator before they got caught when they had the same amount of time and opportunity to do it as I did.

Not sure if the person was really angry though, sounds like an assumption. Ive sent messages before and ppl think I'm angry.

But sure, if he just got hooked and sent u the message, than u weren't given the opportunity to finish a gen and that's my bad for the mis-read.

But he is not here to defend himself so I can only take ur side of the story. If I can see the whole video, that would be nice.

It's also not that big of a deal. I get so many hate messages from all angle.

So did u end up surviving the match?

If I included the full text of the messages it would be obvious this person was angry. I would also get banned from the forum.

I understand that person is not participating in this conversation. I didn't claim it was a big deal. As I said in the original post. I found it fascinating. I thought perhaps others would too. Considering it's gotten very few replies I was obviously wrong about that.

I play a lot of killer. If I have a bad trial, five gens completed, exit gates opened, but finally catch that Nea and guard the hook. I like to remind them how terrible they must be at the game if they died first hook in End Game Chat. Puts a smile on my face.

It was a big enough deal to make a whole thread about it. And it's really not that fascinating. I've encountered so much more playing DBD. But if u think so, that's cool.

Big deal means important. Fascinating means interesting. Those aren't the same thing. Something doesn't have to be a big deal to post about it. Also something can be interesting without being important and vice versa. I may well be in the minority thinking it is fascinating. I'm perfectly fine with that.

Got called a 'camper' and 'tunneler' (along with much more toxic stuff) in a game where I never hooked the same person twice in a row, and always left the area after hooking someone. Apparently being on the map makes me a camper! Next time, I guess I'll just have to leave the map.

Tried that, survivors claimed interacting with the code in such a way was too OP even if I took myself out of the game, and was told I'd be reported as it was unsportsmanlike for me not to be around to T-bag. I've since given up on the Fog and been looking for this little server I've heard called The Matrix...

That would be quite a perk. But let's face it... you would still be accused of camping and tunneling.

I'm not sure what ur arguing. I'm just saying the deal was not as small, or medium enough, for u to post about it.

In other words, it was big enough, to post about it. And u are also fascinated by this .... Unfascinating event.

Cool. You have appointed yourself the judge of what's fascinating. I award you bonus points for having the audacity to believe you have the right to make that determination for others. At the same time I take them all back considering your proclamations of what is and is not fascinating actually doesn't change anyone else's mind.
