Spirit with Undying-Ruin ? unstoppable !
Spirit need a nerf, you have no counterplay because you cant see her where she is or what she do, its not funny to play vs her, look this guys they can not do 1 Gen they try it so hard...
and i am a ok killer, there are players who are much better than me, then you can imagine how much fun it is to play against spirit, you can only hope the spiritplayer do a mistake, this isnt funny, you feel like a piece of meat and the spirit is the hunter xD spirit is broken not Undying with Ruin

TL;DR this "killer main" is complaining about a counterable killer and now is on the bandwagon of complaining about ruin and undying. Move along

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Ruin was in for a proper numbers nerf just because of mobility killers like Spirit, Nurse, Billy, Blight, etc. That being said, I also wouldn't be surprised if the Devs completly missed the fact that literally no other Hex perk is meta, not even Devour Hope, and just nerfed Undying instead.

Every time I see a Spirit complaint post it makes me just want to play her all day. I'm not good with most M1 killers and can pretty much only use her power well for distance so it's amusing when people DC against me and hand me the win when in reality only 1 or 2 of them would end up dying against me playing Spirit.

Undying + Ruin = 2 totems that need cleansing if you get the correct 50% hit on the first totem.. that combo is extremely overrated.
I ran 4 hex perks with duration and speed addons, and when it worked it worked very well. Then some matches were over just as fast as if I was clown.
Sub Undying for Thrill and you get essentially the same thing when it comes to Spirit.. would you say Thrill + Ruin = Unstoppable?

One, stealth, 2 double back on scratch marks if chased, 3 learn the difference between her standing still and pasing, 4 iron will is your best friend, even if she has stridor

...wasn’t overly fun.
Pretty decent challenge cleansing those totems, I must say

- Stealth isn't a killer specific counter, it is a tactic used against all killers, besides doc and legion, it also isn't a chase counter, and spirit has a small terror radius.
- If you double back on scratchmarks, she will hear your breathing and footsteps.
- If you're referring to her shards lighting up, you can only see it if you are within a meter of her.
- Having to bring a perk to counter a killer isn't a good counter, because matches don't have a pre determined outcome.

Undying/Ruin is overrated. I’m beginning to see that clearly now. As killer I’m already going back to old builds.
Also what you say about spirit...unfun, no counterplay, ironic with the dead hard avatar.

These tactics only work on potato Spirits or killers who don't play much Spirit. Let's be real here. Stealthing works on all killers. It isn't specific to Spirit. When people talk about no counters, they're obviously talking about no counters in a chase because that's the most interactive part of the game.
Now let's go over your points. Doubling back on scratch marks gets you hit. You can't tell whether she's standing still or phasing anymore because her footsteps are bugged. Imagine having to run a perk to counter a killer. I guess you just lose without iron will then.
I'm not saying she's op. She's still a double hit m1 killer and she's forced to phase around windows and structures. She can also be efficiently genrushed. However her chase interaction is incredibly onesided because those "counters" will NEVER work against a good Spirit.

Idk about that shards point because I have been about let's say 5 to 10 meters away and I see it clearly, stealth works against every killer so don't act like it doesn't matter, iron will is good against every killer it isn't killer specific. Doubling back on scratch Mark's won't get you hit if you do it right, and I mean get nearly exactly on where you came from, she loses the trail for a sec which makes her lose her power, in chase she is a m1 killer except when she's phasing so try to keep eye on her. Basically going against a spirit is a guessing game for both sides, it's harder to win. Against a spirit than it is for like deathslinger but that's true with nurse as well and no one complains about her anymore. I'm not saying she don't need changes but the counters are there for you to use.

It is true that you are able to see when she's phasing right now due to somekind of weird glow/static effect but that's a bug and isn't intended.
Stealth may help you but it can kill your entire team if you always try to avoid her and never take the aggro.
Sure,iron will is a good perk against all killer,but you shouldn't be forced to run a certain perk in order to have a chance against a certain killer.Not that it matters because most spirits run stridor to counter iron will anyway.
Doubling back also doesn't really do much because she can just hear you or cancel immeadiately after not seeing any scratch marks anymore
Also,most good spirits only use their power at loops in short burst.And you won't be able to win THAT many guessing games in a row.

Yeah that's the main complain about Spirit and Hag rn, the fact that they can guard totems so much better than any other killer. Try playing with friends in a stealthy way.
I actually like facing spirits because I always run Spine Chill and Fixated and they're extremely helpful against her. Urban Evasion is also good against Hag but I wouldn't waste the perk slot on that.

Yeah, it's funny to me how many people assume everyone that plays Spirit or Deathslinger or Pyramid Head is a god level killer and can do amazing with them every match. It's kinda like all the people that instantly assume every SWF is a godly depip squad and not just a group of people chatting while playing a game. The only reason I play some of the killers, Spirit included, is only for dailies.
