Why do I get mostly killer dailies?
Even if I dodge the one killer daily I don't want to do, there will be another one for killer again but not for survivor. I play both sides equally, however I noticed that there are rarely any daily for survivor. And if there are, they usually about escaping the trial (with or without the item), which I hate to do.

If I'm not mistaken, this is a known issue with the dailies and it's being worked on.

I almost exclusively get killer dailies. Literally only get <7 survivor ones per month, including rerolls. Unfortunately the more killers you own, the more likely you are to get them (due to many of them being "unique" to a killer's power, rather than the survivor ones which just madlib a survivor's name into them.)
Its awful and I hate it, especially since playing killer is becoming less and less hospitable for colorblind players with each visual update.

Yeah, I own a lot of killers except for PH, Oni and Deathslinger. And it also bothers me that the requirements for each killer is of different difficulty. Like how we can even compare "Shock 4 survivors as Doc" and "Hit broken survivors as Plague"?
As Freddy you don't have to do anything special at all, the daily is done, but as Ghostface you have to sweat a bit in order to get it done.

They did say in a Q&A shortly before or after the anniversary that they are working on a rework for the daily feature and they know it’s currently killer sided.

Due to it not being a priority (far from it), I doubt we will get it anytime soon; although it seems to me like it is an easy fix, but I may be wrong.

I am pretty sure it would be enough to ensure that you get a guaranteed Daily Ritual of the other side when rerolling it. So if you reroll a Killer Ritual, you get a Survivor Ritual and vice-versa.
Not perfect, but still an option.

I just guessed they want to do more than just rework the probabilities for survivor or killer daily’s and that’s why it takes so long.

The system is meant to give you daily rituals for whichever side you play less. It is just a means of getting you to play both killer and survivor.

Nobody is working on that. It's to encourage ppl to play killers as we don't need survivors.

But lately I've been playing killer a bit more (due to their different powers and, well, dailies😅) but there are still no dailies for survivors (even when there are three new ones)

This is what I thought too. I thought it was to sway more players to play killer to alleviate survivor queues.

This is precisely why I have stopped playing killer. Once I hit green ranks, I get matched with red and purple SWF, and frankly I'm sick of it. There is value in playing against people that are more experienced than you, but I don't need to be wrecked over and over either.

The devs have said that the MMR is coming back, unfortunately we don't know when. Personally I'm waiting until it's back up and running before tackling killer again because as I said before at rank 12 I get matched with red and purple rank survivors, and the last thing I want to do is tackle new killers like the Blight (or Killers I've never played with before) whilst being expected to compete against people far more experienced than me.

The system chooses rituals randomly. There are more Killer rituals in the system than Survivor rituals.
It's that simple. We're not happy with it. A change to this system will be made. I can't say when.

Aside from the obvious need for more survivor rituals in general, I think another useful adjustment to the ritual-recycle system would be to always re-roll a ritual for the opposing role.
Don't want to do a killer ritual? Recycling it could be changed to guarantee that a survivor ritual replaces it and vice-versa.
I'm personally a bigger fan of the killer rituals because they're usually worth more BP and aren't reliant on teammates, but I think an additional function like the one above might benefit us both.

When you you remove a daily you should be able to choose if you want a killer or survivor one to replace it.

I thought the same before and I still prefer survivor daily's but the good side is that you get more bloodpoints as killer. 🙂

Simple solution would be have 3 survivor dailies and 3 killer dailies.

I remember when it first came out on Switch, I would ONLY get killer ones. Once I got a survivor but a glitch happened and it changed to a killer one when I started a match. This happened for months until the survivour ones stayed active...it was so crazy! 😢
